Just tidying this up, since Herron is inactive.

Though Evann was doing her part, as Sagacity listened in, she wasn't terribly impressed with Herron, whose answers were somewhat bland. He seemed to Sagacity like the type of wolf who might be fickle, and reluctant to follow orders, and this was definitely not the type of wolf that she wanted to tote back to the pack. She wouldn't vouch for someone like this. So once she'd freed the remains of the deer from the ground which was frozen solid, she moved back toward her packmate. She touched her nose gently to Evann's ear- a way of showing that she'd done a decent job- before she gave the loner one last look.

"We'll be in touch." But her tone wasn't honest, nor did she mean for it to be. She'd had enough of this male, and didn't particularly want to see him hanging around Ghastly Woods, even if he was a good looking male. She gestured for Evann to leave with her- and spend no more time with the rogue loner, and moved back toward the deer she'd found. It wasn't much of a meal, but it was something- nowadays, something was better than nothing and she knew that there were those in the pack- like Evann- who were so close to starvation that something like this could mean the difference between life and death. "Let's go," She said, though it was more of an assumption, bordering on a command rather than a suggestion. Carrying the remains along with her, Sagacity headed back toward the packlands, leaving behind the loner who hadn't managed to pass the test.
