Hush Meadow New place, new wolves, and a new start

Minka was happy to see that her words had brought some comfort to the girl, though she was frustrated to see this comfort almost instantly get replaced with fear of Ash again. As the dark haired Caverns prince arrived the alpha nodded in respect towards him, surprised that he already knew the young girl before this meeting. Had he been sneaking out again? The tawny ears strained forward as the woman attempted to catch the words that ran like a stream from Danica's mouth, but was only able to make out a few snatches, brother, father, return, and Hollow. The name sent electricity down her spine as she remembered their charged meeting, how strange it had all been and the emotions it stirred up inside her. Still, she wouldn't be distracted from the task at hand and was about to ask the girl to repeat when she chose to on her own. There was a moment of silence as Minka mulled the words over in her mind and watched Titan offer Danica a gesture of comfort. In the end the woman realized that this was not a decision that she could make, though her heart ached for the girl and all she had been through. Bowing her head to the young pair before turning her gaze to Ash, "I can see this is a family matter, it is your decision whether Danica stays or whether you believe she should return to her mother." The words were quiet, meant only for the man but she knew it was possible the pups would hear as well. With a smile to the youngsters she took her leave, making her way back deeper into the territory. EXIT

An exit post from y'all and then we're good.

The alpha did not have to wait long for a response, but it did not take long for his eyebrow to lift in confusion. The girl spoke quite fast, something Ash was quite unused to, especially in his family. Nina articulated her speech quite well, and though she spoke in riddles sometimes, the Hervok man could easily understand her. He waited patiently, hoping that she would repeat what she said, and when she did his heart gave a slight jerk at the new information. So Koda had returned to his dear sister? It was indeed time for his long overdue talk with his sister. Pinning his green gaze back on Danica, he flicked his tail in acknowledgement to Minka's departure and watched Titan's move towards his niece and almost snapped at him to get away from his kin, but alas he said nothing, not wishing to upset anyone any worse.

Ash certainly did not want Danica wandering alone, and if it was a home she wanted then the brown brute could easily offer it. He also knew that Nina would feel much better about the circumstances if her daughter was with someone of close relation, so with a resigned sigh, Ash nodded his head towards the Reinier girl, stepping forward and gently rubbing his muzzle against her cheek in acceptance, before quickly stepping away and speaking, "Very well, you will remain here, but your mother will know information about your whereabouts. I will allow Titan to show you around, as you two seem to be acquainted well. If you need anything, feel free to seek me out. You are my niece, and you are family to Whisper Caverns now." Nodding his head towards Narimé's child, he turned on his heel and disappeared back into his territory, releasing a small sigh when he was far enough away. So much had happened, and Ash could only hope that everything was going to be alright.

OOC: one last post from @Danica and we're all good!

Titan listened quietly as Ash spoke, glad to know that the alpha male would be accepting of Danica. Though he thought it a little odd that the larger man seemed to know quite a bit about Danica's mother. Not dwelling on the thought, Titan missed the angry flash in Ash's gaze after comforting the girl. Instead he was watching Minka leave with a narrowed gaze.

Titan respected the new alpha female, that that didn't mean that he liked her. She had been a friend and even considered family to him until her rise to power. He might have been fine with her becoming leader, but it was the way that it happened which had upset the dark prince. However in a brief spurt of wisdom or smart thinking, Titan had kept himself submissive and quiet in public about his anger over Minka.

Turning to glance back towards Danica and Ash, the dark Thorben cocked his head ever so slightly as the male lead spoke.

Energy poured into Titan's limbs as Ash acknowledged the shadowy boys existence and gave him a job to do. Sure it was only to give Danica the tour of their territory, but it was something to do. Titan could make himself useful instead of being a lump on a log all day long wishing something exciting would happen.

Dipping his head appreciatively to Ash before the male turned to leave, Titan let his tail wag happily. He had a new friend to escort through the territory.

"Come miss Danica. I'll give you a grand tour of the territory..." He turned to lead the way sweeping past the gray fur of Danica as he excited trotted forward. "I'm sure you're dying to know what the cave looks like!" Eager to show off the home he had been born into Titan glanced around with a sparkle in his deep dark blue eyes and gave her a bright smile before heading into the territory.

(Exit Titan)

Danica looked to Titan as he touched her. It calmed her some to have him here, simply because she had already met him and they were on friendly terms so far. Summoning her new found courage she looked back to her Uncle. She took time to examine his face carefully. He had a coldness to his mossy eyes, making it seem like he disliked the closeness of the two. Thinking it best, she ignored this acting as if she hadn't noticed. *I probably just imagined it.*

Soon she found herself grinning as Ash accepted her, a feeling of success filling her heart. When he spoke her eyebrows scrunched up. He was, in fact, her uncle. *How exciting. * She thought looking at him with curious Emerald green eyes. He was now known as a relative and therefore she wanted to get to know him. She turned to Titan as he was mentioned and wagged her tail...she hoped they would become good friends.

"OK!" Danica shouted while fallowing him at a quick pace. She just couldn't wait to check out the entire place. It was going to be so much fun! "Grand tour? Ah, so you're going to make this worth while then, I assume?" She attempted to playfully tease Titan. She gave him a goofy giddy smile when he looked back, starring into his blue orbs. Her eyes held enthusiasm. "Yea!" She barked happily in response. *I bet it is so awe taking I won't know how to react. The cave is probably huge...and...and just amazingly beautiful!* Her mind raced through the possibilities as she pictured her new home.
