I AM IN LOVE WITH LEAF . LEAFKITE SISMANCE. insteada bromance.

Kite's eyes could not help but linger on Leaf, who was really a lovely specimen. Petite and pretty, and spirited to boot, the smile that fell upon the L'Crowe's features was inevitable. Leaf, her savior. Of what? Leaf went on a long-winded tangent and spoke of Kite's, to which the yearling was all ears for. Kite hadn't heard of any other Kite's but her own name. Kite? In the sky? I've never seen... ah... But there was a bird species, Kite; that was where her name had come from. No, maybe I have, I don't know. She shrugs, not really a bird species expert. She had her crow, which wasn't really her crow... but she had followed it on her journey here, and here it also remained.

Kite moved closer to the other, to sniff at her as any canine creature would in their right mind, her tail waving to demonstrate her friendly intent. The youth leaned in slightly, nostrils flaring to drink her in, and the truth of Leaf's words was in her vagabond scent. Everywhere she went had come with her. Well... most, Kite presumed. No? You haven't? Kite was a bit happy to hear this, if only because it meant that she could rope Leaf into never leaving, ever. Leaf was the only other stranger aside from Mirren Kite truly felt open with, and she was most thankful for her company. I mean, if you're looking for a home and there's room, maybe you could live there, She doesn't know if there is—or isn't—any availability, but if there was, well, she would vouch for her. Assuming you know, y'can hunt and track and all of that. Got any other special skills?

"Let's try to keep an eye out for your namesake, Kite," she said with a small smile. Leaf assumed that Kite was named after the bird--or the flying contraption created by human beings (but let's not try to figure out how a wolf even knew this information!), and it had always been a comfort for her to see her namesake all around her. Certainly, the leaves here were not as magical as those in her home pack, and on certain days it could be discouraging, but otherwise, it was a reminder that she had been named with purpose and intention in mind.

The little red wolf perked up herself as the invitation, insecure as it was. Dipping her head, she gently prodded the other wolf and mirrored what she had did just moments ago. She did not have any knowledge of this Secret Woodlands pack (it being secret and all), but this ignorance did not deter her. "It depends," she said after a moment, her bushy tail swaying upwards and behind her as she sat herself down. "What is your pack like?" She wanted to know not only for her sake but for that of another. The lights were now changing into a rather unnatural turquoise blue, and the lone wolf thought it matched her mood. Then again, the skies always read minds it seemed. Either that or certain moods were never tolerated or allowed to be hidden.

The L'Crowe tilted her head at Leaf, and when the other insisted upon keeping a look out for her namesake, she nodded. Kite really had no idea what region they lived in, though her mother evidently knew of them so they must have been seen by her once... or perhaps it was her father who named her? Kite had never thought to ask. But now, she would be on the look out for what exactly she was named for... ah, alright. It would be pretty cool to see it, now that she really focused on the idea. Kite sees kite. And kite, in the sky, sees Kite. Perhaps they would have an instant bond. Kite hardly had a bond with the bird she had already followed here, but... well, that didn't matter did it? Things happened randomly and without reason. Like she meeting this wolf named for the things trees grew. Leaf.

Kite liked her name, too.

At the others question, Kite seemed to draw into herself for a moment. I only really know Mirren, she admitted, ...I'm relatively new, myself. The alpha female, Nina, seems nice. She's just had a litter not too long ago, Kite wondered if now that the woman had given birth, if she would see more of her when the pups could wander. The yearling understood that Nina could not be everywhere given her situation. But, thinking on that, Kite recalled that the Woodlands likely required all the manpower they could get right now. If you want to visit, I'd love to see you again. It's that way, she gestures in its direction, and her tail waves, But I ought to get back, Leaf. It was really a pleasure to meet you. Please visit. Maybe you'll meet my boyfriend, she teases playfully, but waits before turning to go for any of Leaf's final words.

It was an open invitation to a home she did not yet have. "Oh, I ought to get back as well," she found herself saying, though it must have been apparent to both of them that she had nowhere to go back to. This was not to say that she did not have any friends here--well, maybe it was. Feeling what must have been embarrassment, Leaf gave a nod. "If I am alive, I will try my best," she said without humor. She did not move but watched as her new acquaintance left and left her alone to admire the Northern Lights. With the dark shadows hiding her features, Leaf silently wished that he was here. Though she had experienced little in Relic Lore, she felt as if she had so much to tell, so much to share.
