Titan Thorben
OOC: You did absolutely fine! I posted so that you as the writer would have free choice whether to have your character get close to Titan and avoid his attacks or let them hit her if you wanted. I can't post like this EXample: "He ran forward and grabbed her ear then began chewing on it" because that's pretty much power playing. It's why I post like this instead EXample: "He planned on grabbing her ear and chewing on it if luck let his attack hit" or "the boy made a move to catch the she wolf in his grip" instead of outright saying " The boy caught the she wolf in his grip".

You get what I'm saying? So your fine don't worry, since she ran from Titan anyway I'll have him chase, stalk, or just stand there stupidly. :D

IC:
Titan bit his lip in mock frustration as the she wolf stayed just far away enough from him that he couldn't reach her. However the coy she wolf began taunting the boy as he stood tense waiting for her to get close. Wrinkling his nose in a mock snarl he snapped gently at where her paws would flash in and out of his range. Once he was almost sure he got at least the tip of her paw in his soft jaws before she pulled back. However it could have been his imagination playing with him, making him think he felt something when he hadn't. His patience was growing thin as she weaved in front of him dashing close for a second then moving away as he leaned forward to grab her. Then all of the sudden she turned tail and ran.

His hunting instincts kicked in at the sight of a running animal. Although it was another wolf, and he knew this, Titan's legs pushed hard off the earth while his crown snapped forward. Titan was at a dead sprint as he tailed the she wolf and tried to catch up to her. The young woman was toying with him, obviously faster and able to keep out of his reach even after she slowed to let him catch up to her. She was unbelievably fast!

Bushes, and grasses whipped past his legs as he thundered forward as fast as he could go. Titan was definitely shaping up to be a tank rather than a lean hunter like he had hoped to be. To the dark Thorben's credit though he had the stamina to keep going at his top speed for some time. He was almost able to get a hold of her scruff as the male came close to her left side. However his clumsy large paws tripped him. He ran forward catching up once more but not able to get any closer. He was sure that he would tire out before the Falcon girl did. She was smaller and lighter, and most likely could go running at their current speed for much longer than he could. Already his legs were burning and the young male began slowing.

"Oh...Kay... No more... Running...." He huffed between each word while hoping the she wolf would turn on him and try to attack him.

Okay, that's what I thought! Just didn't want to step out of line if you guys did things differently here. <3 Now I know for next time. ;3

There he was! Relieved, Falcon rushed forward to greet him with laughter and happy licks on his muzzle. Honestly, the tawny female didn't think Titan looked any worse for the wear after the little jaunt through the woods! At the very least, he handled it better than Jackdaw did. Her brother would have been snarling at her by now to 'slow the fuck down' and other such obscenities. Not that she took offense! She knew he didn't mean it harshly, though any strangers would likely be alarmed to hear him talk to her that way. The truth was that he tended to talk to everyone like that. So in a way, her brother didn't choose favorites. She felt pride for that; Jackdaw thought no one was special and thus deserved the same treatment.

Falcon giggled with delight, as giddy as a pup on a bright spring day with a promise of an upcoming first hunt! Oh, and how she remembered her own. The rabbits and mice and birds she'd caught as a pup didn't count when it came to hunts in her old pack. When they came of age, all yearlings had to hunt with the pack one of the roving herds of deer. They weren't considered adult until they could take one down - with help, of course. The she-wolf had been light on her feet and quickly separated one from the herd, but when it came to the actual take down, Falcon hadn't the strength to yank down the animal alone. Jackdaw had come to the rescue then and pulled the animal down with a powerful tug before the rest of the pack caught up and proceeded to squabble over who got the best innards. The young Falcon had been content to lay panting nearby while the others had their fill. Even then, she'd been used to waiting her turn.

The memory made her wistful for her old pack mates again. Falcon shook her head. That was past; she had a new friend to play with and that should be all that mattered!

She wriggled in place, her tongue still lapping excitedly at Titan's chin before she began to nip playfully. "No more running," she promised with happy yips.

I'm laughing at the way I imagine Titan is trying to wriggle away from her licks
Falcon's happy grin was making his day quite nice. He had been somewhat down in the dumps when he had woken up earlier in the morning, however Titan was now embracing the young womans youthful energy. She was making him feel like a pup again, when in fact he was trying to grow up faster to be of more help to his pack mates. Though he became highly embarrassed when the girl doubled back and apologized then began showering him with excited licks. His breath still heaving Titan tried backing up as she forced her happiness upon him. However he tripped in a slight dip in the ground which drove his butt to the earth as if he were sitting. Trying to hide his slip up Titan tried to make it look like he had just wanted to sit.

The next moment he looked up and saw a wistful expression across her face. He couldn't help uttering "What's wrong?" before she began wriggling all over once more. Falcon promised no more running, though Titan suddenly wondered if she maybe should get rid of her extra energy by running a few laps around the forest. Yanking his head up trying to get away from her slimy licks (which could be thought of as kisses), Titan caught his breath as she sidled right up against his chest while reaching for his chin to nip at it.

"Ah... umm.. p.p..please stop.. Only mom licks me on my face...and I..I don't even like when she does it..." He didn't exactly hate or dislike what Falcon was doing, but he also wasn't positive if he liked the huge amount of attention she was giving him either. He was getting a tiny bit peeved by her intrusion of his personal space, but only because he wasn't sure how to handle the situation.

Poor Titan getting too much love! XD

Falcon's tail continued to wag, but she flopped over readily right at his paws to show she meant no harm. The tawny female sometimes got a bit carried away and became more trouble than she was worth, though her intentions were almost always pure.

Titan's thoughts on Falcon's energy level had been correct, however. Unable to hold still, the female bounded to her paws and raced around the clearing. She leapt over logs from long since fallen trees and scattered fallen leaves in her wake. Ah, this was the life! How could anyone be unhappy with a day like today? she wanted to ask. Oh, but she knew. Her brother would find a way to be sour.

Oh, Jackdaw!!

Falcon skidded to a stop, panting hard as she looked at her recently caught rabbit that still lay abandoned and forgotten nearby. Ants were already starting to flock to the carcass and a caw overhead warned her of a crow thinking to make a quick lunch of her hard-caught meal.

"I forgot all about my brother!" she confided, a bit embarrassed. Time flew when one was having fun, and Titan had provided her with more fun than she'd seen since she and Jackdaw had come to Relic Lore. "I'm so sorry," she told the dark male, ears pulled back in true regret. "He'll be so cross with me. I didn't think I'd be so long. I was already gone too long when I caught it! I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

The she-wolf scampered over to the rabbit and yanked it up, shaking free any of the lingering ants. I'll see you again?" she asked hopefully, eyes bright with the very idea of meeting to play some more.

Titan Thorben
His blue eyes glittered as the she wolf flounced herself around then fell to her back to show the Thorben once more that she meant him no harm. Then as quickly as she was there Falcon picked herself up and began running around the clearing jumping over logs and ditches as she went. He watched her happily soaking in the good atmosphere that swelled around the high spirited she wolf. He was in a great mood now as the woman stopped and looked at her rabbit. She gave him a goofy grin which brought a smile out of his watching form. I wonder what kind of wolf her brother is? He thought as she confessed about forgetting Jackdaw's meal.

"Don't say sorry to me! You're brother is the one waiting for his meal... Wherever he is.." Titan stuck his tongue out in a puppyish gesture he hadn't used since playing with Malia many months ago before she had died. Then Falcon picked up her brothers meal and moved to leave before calling out to him between rabbit fur.

"I hope so! It was fun meeting you, and I haven't had that much fun in a while..." He wagged his tail a few times before standing up straight and readying himself to leave as well. He probably shouldn't be wandering too close to Maksim's pack anyway despite wanting to meet with the male again. "I have to get back to my family too. Good bye and good luck with your brother." He called while dipping his head in a good bye gesture and turned to depart.

(exit Titan) Thank you for the fun thread!
