Light rain — 55° F/13° C
It had started to lightly rain as Myrrhis set out in attempt to find herbs that were either not in her pack lands or hard to find otherwise. Of course, she didn’t have to go far away like she was but Myrrhis wanted to explore a little as well. Not to mention she didn’t mind the cloudy sky and what was falling from it. She liked the rain, as long as it didn’t begin to fall any harder or anything worse, she was perfectly happy to walk in the light drizzle. With her orange eyes sweeping the ground for the plants she had on her mind before a small sigh escaped passed her muzzle. She had yet to spot anything. Hopefully, she would find something before she made her way back to the den.
Huffing lightly, Myrrhis shook out her fur, dampened in the drizzle and feeling the water that had collected on her grey fur to flick off easily. Perhaps she could find a small shelter and take a rest to wait out the rain before moving on. It was a nice thought so Myrrhis allowed her orange eyes to wander in order to find a shelter that would be suitable for an hour or two as the rain continued to fall from the sky.
The heart shaped leaves above her drooped and lifted as the rain fell down on them, as if they were bowing down to the old healer so when she found an old fox den to take shelter in, Myrrhis couldn’t help but chuckle at them. Looking skyward to see if the rain would be stopping anytime soon Myrrhis noticed that part of the sky was still showing through the light clouds and as she peered closer, there were small flashes of light zooming across the inky sky.
”Shooting stars!” Myrrhis cried happily, a smile playing on her face as she settled down to watch them.
