Kodokuna Zeff
Time was still, the sound of the crickets and frogs overwhelmed her. It was time to move again, but moving seemed impossible, her fur was caked with mud, matted together along with sticks and leaves. She knew she couldn't last much longer like this, alone, hungry, and utterly lost.

Kodokuna licked her muzzle, her tongue catching on a dried leaf. She looked up at the sky, meteors sprinkled the sky. Kodokuna gave a deep huff and settled into one of the few dry spots in the marshy area. She found this creek on accident, wandering aimlessly trying to find some source of water. Although it was murky it proved to be a clean enough source of water for the time being.

She knew she was lost, and there had been no signs of other animals, let alone another wolf. Kodokuna knew there was going to be rain here, the humitidy only added to the mess in her fur. She rolled onto her white side, letting the black hide her better than the white ever could. She knew this wasn't the ideal home, but as a loner she knew better than to travel into pack territory. The worst she could run into out here was another loner, and if push came to shove she had no problem fighting them.

A squirrel ran behind her and her ears perked, She knew going after him would be foolish, but she was starving. She jumped to her feet and began to hunt her prey. Wandering through the swamp she realized she was even more lost than she had been. All that kept her company was meteors and frogs.

Namid 'Star Dancer'

Namid was, quite simply, cranky. All day she had been traveling, hardly stopping for a rest. Though it was her fault it still made her mood rather sour. The day before it had rained basically from dawn until dusk, which made everything slightly swollen with water and made the air heavy with humidity. That fact had left her hot and bothered all day as she was slowly cooked in her own pelt. Even with her summer coat she was left with it being slightly denser than most and this caused her lots of grief during the warmer months. The one thing that made her in a slightly better mood was the apparent meteor shower playing overhead. It shot streaks of molten rock across the horizon and made it seem like the world was falling apart in a beautiful way. She had never seen a meteor shower before, being as young as she was, and it did peak her interest.

Meandering along the path she had laid out for herself a rustling could be heard in the distance and she could sense it was quickly approaching. Her hackles raised in alarm as she stood still, auds pushing forward in alertness as she looked in the direction the sound was coming. What she saw quite frankly dumbfounded her. It was a wolf rapidly chasing after a squirrel, though in the brief glance she saw she could tell the wolf was thin and honestly mangy looking. She assumed the wolf was as black as night by the way it shot across and she could hardly see it in the descending shadows around them. As quickly as the running began it ground to a halt and left her in silence. Her curiosity, no matter how much it nagged her, got the best of her as usual and she went to investigate.

“Hello?”The Star Dancer called out.

Kodokuna Zeff
Kodokuna whipped around to face the stranger. She couldn't help but wonder how she hadn't noticed. Her peculiar eyes analyzed the wolf in front of her. A meteor fell to the ground a few feet behind her, no bigger than a small rock now. Kodokuna payed no mind to the foreign object; her entire focus was on the threat in front of her.

"who are you?"She growled through bared teeth. Kodo didn't have time to fight another wolf, nor did she have the energy. The squirrel scurried by her once again and fled up a tree next to her. She snapped at it as it ran by but only got a tuft of fur from its tail. She blew it off her face and took a good look at the newcomer. A female, she wasn't nearly as large as Kodokuna was but she knew one thing stuck out, the different colored eyes...just like her own.

"The eyes...." She murmured under her breath. She had never met another wolf anything like herself, but she was still so different being a chimera. She didn't let her body relax, trying her best to come off as some sort of weak threat.

Namid 'Star Dancer'

The silver she-wolf, already fed up with most of everything that had happened that day, wasn’t taking kindly to the other wolf behaving so rudely to her over a simple greeting. Her hackles rose behind on her neck as she opened her maw to bite out a retort, then the other female moved. While the unfamiliar canine may have been startled by Namid, The Star Dancer was absolutely shocked by what she saw. With eyes the most unusual color combination she had ever seen, and a body split in half like a seam between light and dark she thought the fae looked like some form of other worldly being.

“The pelt,” The fae seemed to mimick in reference to the unfamiliar’s own reaction. She shook her head, trying to get her mind out of the daze that the appearance of the other female had set her in. This wasn’t anything to be made a big deal of, she reasoned with herself. Though she had grown used to others staring at her eyes, she knew it still bothered her to an extent. She didn’t want to be hypocritical and pass the same treatment she received onto the other mismatched fae, so instead she decided to look elsewhere. Such as up the tree at the squirrel whom the female had been chasing, or so she suspected. It was sitting there, chewing on an acorn. The Star Dancer couldn’t help the laugh that bubbled up her throat at the sight of the small mammal, who seemed to be mocking them.

Kodokuna Zeff
The stars, mixed with meteors and a random strike of lightning made for a majestic light show above the murky waters that surrounded the two wolves. A low rumble gave the signal of impending storms. Kodokuna shook her head relaxing back a bit. She could tell the newcomer was offended by her defensiveness. She followed the fellow she-wolfs gaze up the tree and scoffed.
"Didn't want to eat you anyways" She muttered growling at it as it scurried higher up the tree.

Kodokuna knew they had very little time before the skies would open up and a torrential downpour would ensue. The winds hastened their power, leaves rustled and blew in the trees. The twigs that were stuck in Kodo's matted fur were moved along with the debris on the ground from past storms. The howl of the wind gave an eerie, lonely feeling between the two wolves.

With a soft whine Kodokuna's tail had slowly moved between her legs, she was afraid. She needed shelter before this storm came otherwise she would be left to the mercy of the elements, which had not been kind the last few storms. The mud that caked her paws and legs hid the injuries she suffered after she managed to tumble down a small cliff during the previous night, which was how she had ended up here in the first place.

Kodokuna looked upon her fellow canine and then back to the ground. "Would you like to come with me to find shelter?"

Namid 'Star Dancer'

The fae gave a shake, fluffing out her pelt against the sudden drop in temperature that always came with a storm front. It seemed that it rained often in Lore, and it hadn’t done much to help her blood pressure. Namid was known to have a dire fear of storms, sometimes even having anxiety attacks when they came around. She was ok with a little rain, but once it started getting heavier and the lightning and wind came her heart beat picked up until it was at a steady gallop. She never knew what caused the fear in her, as she’d been around the weather all of her life. She just knew that it made her very uneasy, possibly because of the complete lack of control there seemed to be.

Taking deep breathes she considered the strange females offer. She didn’t seem like a dangerous wolf, strange sure but dangerous no. It would likely be better for her to find shelter with her, anyhow, because with two searching there were better chances of finding their goal. A nod bobbed her silver cranium in consent, a mumbled “Ok” slipping past her jaws as she waited for the other wolf to move in a direction. Maybe she knew a place where there was bound to be shelter. The Star Dancer had just entered this territory herself, so she had very limited knowledge on the whereabouts of anything in the area. She very sincerely hoped she did, because if she didn’t they would be out in the elements far more than the she-wolf really cared to be.
