He hated how she looked away from him. He hated how she pretended to ignore the words coming out of his mouth, when in reality she was listening to every syllable. Why did she have to be so damn difficult all the time? Usually he saw it as a trait to find sort of endearing, if not at the same time infuriating. But now, it was simply just annoying. As she finally turned to acknowledge him, he wasn't surprised at her anger. It seemed that no matter what he said, something always insulted her or just plain pissed her off. Works both ways hon, he thought as he tried to keep from smirking at her very pissed off yet adorable look. Adorable really only to him. A lesser man would've cowered in fear. But Hotei was not one of them. His anger, once again, seemed to be deflated. Until he heard the words pouring out of her maw.
She was angry at him? Ridiculous! He made himself rise to his full height and a snarl showed on his maw. "No," he emitted strongly. He pressed his form tightly against hers as his yellow gaze connected with her emerald one. "We are not. doing. this. again." Each word sounded darker than the last and with each pause he took one step forward and she instinctively one step back. He backed her up until she was pressed against a tree with no way to escape for he crowded her with his immense stature. "You. are. mine," he growled. "You. are. a. Tainn.." His eyes never left her gaze, not giving her any chance to escape from his intense stare. "You will forever be mine." If he couldn't get it through her thick skull how much she meant to him by sappy words, there was no way she would miss his meaning with possessive actions.
