As she made her way back towards the Caverns, she was crossing her way through the Dropping Willows where the Willow Ridge pack lied, led by Elettra, the woman that had held the war against the rabid wolves across the mountain. She didn’t know much about them besides that and that Whisper Caverns were allies with them. Why was unknown to her, but it made her realize that if she left the Caverns on a bad note, she wouldn’t be gaining just one enemy, she’d be gaining two.
She stopped at a small creek to quench her thirst, her eye looking around her. The air was beginning to get colder and colder and Athena knew that she didn’t have much time left. If she didn’t make her move now, her pack might not make it through the winter as they might be used to the decrease of prey within the mountains. Athena knew how tough it could be in the mountain during winter and she had to prepare her pack for it, so they could survive. If this winter was as bad as the last, they might be in trouble.
