Here ya go @Myrrhis! :D

The Silver Male padded lazily through the vast expanse of flat greenery that was nestled close just above the foothills of the Mountain of Dire, which made up the territory of Silent Moon Plateau. He had yet to discover all the secrets his new home held, only exploring vaguely before moving on. It was the same with his pack mates. There was a recent influx of new wolves, mainly female, and yet he hadn't met a single one of them. Their scents crisscrossed the territory but he hadn't come face to face with one. Actually, he hadn't really interacted with any wolf since the day they claimed their new territory as he had been busy making sure their borders were well marked and just exploring. That would change though. He wanted to meet his new family, see for himself the wolves that Phineas had allowed into the ranks. What good was a wolf that had sworn to protect his pack at all costs if he had not met any of them, or didn't even know them by name or scent?

Almost completely surrounded in a think expanse of forest made up of evergreen pines, firs and the rare hardwood tree, Ace briefly paused his trek by he winding creek that cut through the forest to slake his thirst with the cool, fresh water. Once he had had his fill, the Silver Male slowly waded into the creek, wincing momentarily at the freezing cold liquid before he got used to it. As it only reached his underside, he slowly bent his legs so it covered the entirety of his body, with the exception of his head. He was way overdue for his bathing session in the creek anyways.

Myrrhis "Myrrh" Flint
Curious about her new home and in need of a bath, Myrrhis had decided to go on a small quest to find a river or some form of water source she could use to wash her fur. It had been quite some time since her last one and her skin was feeling dirty and her coat, though kept clean with tongue baths, needed a proper wash. The trees surrounding her as she moved within the pack were tall, some of their branches almost bowing down with the weight of snow on them. It was a pretty spot, one where she would perhaps place her own private den. To think this would be a part of her new home...

She was distracted from her thoughts when the sound of something or someone entering water nearby and for a brief moment, the old wolf thought it might be a bear looking for a late snack in the water before she peered around the tree she was behind, only for her eyes to settle on a wolf standing in the creek. It was clear he was just taking a bath and his coat, a mixture of dark greys, whites and creams, was handsome if she thought so herself. And younger then her as well. Then again, most of the wolves she met were younger then her now days. Shaking her head, Myrrhis took a few steps forward to introduce herself, her posture relaxed as called out to him. It was easy to tell he was off Silent Moon Plateau, even if his scent was faint in the water.

"Good day sir! Do you mind if I join you, to wash my coat?"

The water was cold, freezing cold, even through his thick pelt, but after a bit the cold vanished as he got used to it. Feeling it run past him slowly, Ace cleansed his fur, completely oblivious to the fact that another wolf may be watching. He dipped his head under the surface of the creek, letting the liquid soak into his muzzle fur where it often got muddy or bloody. It was only when a female voice called out to him that he realized he wasn't alone, and he abruptly lifted his face from the water, stood up, shook out his coat, and turned to look at the wolf. She was older than him, that was clear by the splattering's of faded grey fur around her muzzle and back, but still held beauty from her younger days. The aroma of Silent Moon Plateau was easily discernible on her coat, and he smiled widely at meeting one of his fellow pack mates.

"Of course, ma'am, I'd be obliged to have your company on this day," Ace said warmly, his tail wagging (and splashing small drops of water on his already dripping wet pelt) and ears perked forward curiously. She seemed very friendly and a relaxed sort of wolf, which he liked. Maybe they could become friends? "I don't remember seeing you on claiming day," Ace said as she came closer and waded into the creek. "Are you a recently joined subordinate?" He briefly wondered how long she had been a part of Silent Moon Plateau, but guessed it couldn't have been for that long as the pack scent wasn't as strong on her pelt as it was on his.

Myrrhis "Myrrh" Flint
Myrrhis bowed her head at him when he answered her question, a smile working over her face at his warm tone and friendly nature as she waded carefully into the creek. At first, she shivered at the cold touch of water but bared with it. Her pelt needed to be clean and the water wasn't so cold that she couldn't ignore it.

"Thank you, " she glanced over to him as the dirt and blood that had gathered there since her last bath was slowly washed off her fur. It felt nice to be clean after so long. Now her coat was being carefully cleaned, the lighter parts were becoming more clear and gleaming almost like silver, while the dark parts become only slightly less dark. "And yes, I've only just recently joined the pack. It was after meeting Seraphina that I decided to join." She explained carefully, her own tail wagging slightly in memory of the girl. "It is a lovely home and one that I hope to stay in for some time."

Perhaps the two of them could become friends? It'd be nice to have some friends within the pack, as Seraphina she already considered to be friends with and it'd would be good to have more. Pausing briefly before going to clean her jaws, Myrhis turned to him, curious.

"You said something about a claiming day. Is it unwise to think you recently just moved here?" She questioned, already having her suspicions anyway.

The Silver Male returned the smile and bowed his head at her voiced appreciation, even though it wasn't needed. He would always do good things for others if he thought they deserved it, and no thanks was needed in return. In many ways, Ace was like a Good Samaritan, always helping others and never asking for anything in return. That was the way he had been brought up to act, had been ingrained in him since birth, and would continue to dictate his life until the end. "No need to thank me, ma'am, it was the least I could do. Everyone needs the chance to clean themselves and have a friendly conversation, don't they?"

The two silvered wolves were silent for a while as they cleaned their pelts of the muck and grime, until she answered his curious query. His tail wagged at the mention of Seraphina, the fae that had joined them the day they set up camp. She seemed nice enough, but he hadn't actually met with her properly face to face, so as of yet, he had no indication of her true nature. "I'm sure the rest of the pack would love to have you as a permanent addition to the pack, as would I." Ace said with a warm smile.

"You are quite correct. The pack migrated from the east lower down, formerly known as Magnolia Glen, but certain... hardships caused the leader to move us further up the mountain." He was vague on the specific details of the cause of the move, as he felt that she didn't need to hear the whole story, and it was also very personal to Phineas and he'd rather not have her feel unneeded sympathy for him.

"My apologies ma'am, I have not introduced myself yet," Ace said sheepishly, apologetically splaying his ears to the side. "My name is Ace Caravello, second underneath Phineas. May I have your name in return?"

Myrrhis "Myrrh" Flint
Myrrhis listened to Ace's story as he told it, the male telling her about the packs' hardships that caused its movement to the mountain. She was not going to push as to what had made them move, though the lack of a female leader would attribute to it, she supposed.

"That is understandable." She murmured softly, when he finished. Before he asked her his name, going his first. "Of course you may have my name. My name is Myrrhis Flint, Ace." The elder woman smiled at him as she made her way back to the edge of the creek to shake her coat out. It was getting too cold to stay in the water for too much longer. And it would not do to catch a cold. As she got out, she shivered heavily, water dripping from her coat before in went flying everywhere as she shook the silver pelt out.

"So you are second in command Ace?" She queried, curious as to how he came to the rank. "I am hoping to become a teacher within these ranks, though I am a healer mostly by trade. What of you?" Myrrhis hoped her question was not prying too much. Even in the winter, her healer mind was on the look out for herbs and as she waited for Ace to answer her question, her eyes were searching for any herbs that were sticking out of the snowy banks. It would not hurt to look, even if there were not any in view.

Ace stared curiously at the older fae when she introduced herself, her name ringing a bell in his mind, back when Magnolia Glen was still standing. There had been a black fae, one that had hooked him in as easily as breathing, but even then he hadn't fully felt the attraction. There was one woman for him, and right now, he was sure she hated him for all he was worth. He released a short breath that he had been holding, and followed the older fae out of the creek, shaking his coat out carefully so he wouldn't wet his companion.

"An unusual name, Myrrhis, but one that fits you well." The Silver Male said warmly, canting his head slightly to the side. "Do you happen to know a black female that goes by the name... Neoma Flint?" He wanted to know if there was a connection between the two wolves, or if it was just coincidental.

"I am, ma'am, have been since before the change of location of the pack." And the reason for his high rank was that the previous wolves had disappeared, just up and left, and so he had filled in for their roles, staying true to the vow that he had given to Phineas. "The pack needs both of those roles, and I am sure whichever you choose you will be very fruitful in what you do. As for me? I have previously been a guardian, and at one point stepped up briefly for leadership, but I have always aspired to just be a guardian. Protecting my pack and family is what I do best, what I grew up wanting to do."

Myrrhis "Myrrh" Flint
"Neoma Flint..." Myrrhis tested the name on her tongue, after many months of not speaking the name. How was her dark daughter going? Was she well? It seemed she was, to have left an imprint on this man. Myrrhis turned to him slowly, nodding in answer to his question. "Neoma Flint happens to be one of my daughters from my oldest litter. It has been...it has been many moons since I last saw her and it was not on good terms we saw each other last." It had been horrible, with Neoma accusing her sister of killing their father and her mate and saying she never wanted to speak with or see them ever again. It had torn her already broken heart further into pieces.

"Bring a healer has always had its pleasures but to be a teacher brings even more," Myrrhis wanted to change the subject, steer it away from her daughter and the heart wrenching guilt that throbbed quietly in her. It was still a open wound for the mother, who wanted nothing more then her entire brood to get along peacefully and help each other. But it was not meant to be. "I will always be a healer, I think but I'm ready to pass one knowledge to those who are willing to learn."

Myrrhis titled her head, a small smile tugging at her lips, when Ace explained his role within the pack ranks. "And what a wonderful thing to aspire to. To protect ones' family..." It reminded her of her oldest son and her heart ached even more.

Ace raised his eyebrows slightly when the older female mentioned that Neoma was her child. Now that he looked closer he could see the slight resemblances they held, only after the relation was clear to him. At least Myrrhis wasn't repelled by the water or the thought of getting wet like the dark fae had been. "I hope whatever happened was not too bad, ma'am, nothing is worse than having your own child hate you, and you being unable to fix it." Not that he had children of his own, but he had had an older brother that he didn't necessarily hate, more just didn't get along with. At all. The Silver Male hadn't been able to make amends before his brother was murdered with the rest of his family, and if there was one thing he wished he could do was go back and set everything right.

Ace was eager to change the subject, to pass on from the depressing themes and steer away from the sadness of going down memory lane. He managed a smile when Myrrhis spoke of her skills in healing and wanting to be a teacher. A sudden laugh escaped his maw when she spoke again about being a healer and passing on what she knew. "I admit to sometimes acting like I know most things, especially when I was younger, but when it comes to healing and herbs I am way out of my depth," he woofed, his tail tapping his hocks. That was just one skill he was just unable to learn. Far too many different names and uses, he just muddled them all up. "Maybe you could teach me a few of the basic herbs?" He asked curiously. It was then that the breeze brought with it the delicious taint of deer nearby. Turning to Myrrhis, the Silver Male grinned almost childishly. "Lunch time?"
