She had yet to truly have a long conversation with Ace (anything more than a hello) since she had risen to power nearly a week and a half prior. The fact was they had both been swept up in their jobs to stop and talk but things had declined a bit for Aes so she figured she would tag along to see what Ace was doing that day. Perhaps they could go hunting or something. That reminded Aes that she had to tell Ace about her cousin residing within the pack. Perhaps Ace would be a bit nicer - oh who was she kidding, he was a giant teddy bear. She had to admit that her flirtacious relationship with Ace felt different than it had with her formerly best friend Rainar. Perhaps he had always known Rainar was trouble.
Her wandering had unknowingly pulled her away from pack territories which was an almost certainty that she'd never find her friend. Perhaps he too would wander but she continued to fail to notice it as she pondered what exactly was different about Ace. She was positive that even her gut instincts had now known about the evil that Rainar had held so why was her relations with Ace so different than what she had felt for the other man. There had certainly never been any romance between her and Rainar and as far as she could tell, which she was fairly clueless with, there wasn't any between herself and Ace. Her heart told her otherwise but she had long since muted her heart. Perhaps she needed someone to turn up the speakers on it.
