Denahi Lagina
Any BTD wolves are welcome to come greet him, but @Tokino will need to pop in eventually:)

"Denahi Lagina." Denahi tried the name out on his tongue for the hundredth time. He said it with pride, loving the way the names sounded together in his deep, scratchy voice. Denahi Inuksuk was the name he had gone by for his whole life up until a month ago. It was then his parents had told him of his true past and his true name. He was a Lagina and his mother had given him up at birth. He knew nothing about her or her family, nothing about his true lineage.

As a boy, Denahi had always taken an interest in his parents' heritage, believing that it was his heritage too. His mother, Fleur, was french and knew the language as well as she knew her own name. She had tried to teach him and he had tried to learn, but it turned out that he was a better fighter than a memorizer and he was only able to remember a few words and phrases. His father was a descendant of a very different culture: he was Inuit and his line extended back for more years than Denahi could count. Denahi was proud to have such a colorful past and treasured every bit of it that his parents shared with him.

What a surprise to find out that none of it was ever truly his. His past was a mystery. One that he intended to solve, despite all odds.

The scent of a pack border disrupted Denahi's musings. Well, it was time to talk to another alpha. He had spoken to three different alphas since he left Ender's Edge and now he would speak to a fourth. Who knew how long it would take to stumble upon a pack that knew of the name Lagina. It could take many more months, or perhaps it was right around the corner. Tilting his large grey head back and closing his silvery eyes, Denahi howled loudly, calling for someone to meet him at the borders.

Tokino Lagina

The resting place upon a large boulder had long since been claimed by the Thorn wolves alpha male Tokino. He had found it soon after claiming the territory and continued to use it throughout the summer and fall. The smooth gray stone had sucked up warmth from the sun most everyday, and had been a great place to lay down. However now that it was chilly and cold out the stone would offer no source of comfort let alone warmth. Instead the touch of it under the Lagina wolf's fur covered paws made him shiver.

Deciding to continue onwards instead of resting at the boulder, Tokino pushes himself forward through the wintry weather towards the borders. The gray male had learned after seeing how Nari's pack was almost destroyed not to allow his pack mates to travel during snow storms and bad weather. He stayed inside the borders at all times, though the male would venture out for just long enough to mark them from time to time.

As the weather had calmed quite a bit and stayed relatively nice; Tokino would take the chance to do a patrol around the territory looking for food, predator, or loner. So he wasn't too far away when a howl sounded ahead of him.

Loping forward, Tokino finally comes into view of the stranger. His icy eyes narrow before pinning the male with a harsh gaze. Upon his slowed approach, Tokino lets his tail sway up into position before raising his head and tipping his chin upwards. He notes the colorless coat, which was common in his family, but a little less common in others. What surprised him further was the other males eyes. They too were colorless, and Tokino had not met any wolf outside of his own family harboring those ghostly orbs. There's a first for everything... Kino's thoughts rumbled about the gray males crown.

Who are you and why have you come to Black Thorn Downs pack borders? Tokino's tenor rings out billowing clouds of warm mist into the cold air.
