The Attaya Family
When he was but a yearling, a raging storm stole everything Kade had ever known and made him the lone survivor of the Attaya family. In the Fall of 2011, he crossed the borders of Relic Lore - the very place that would harbor the Attaya family's rebirth. Kade soon became a loyalist of Grizzly Hollow, serving as Second-in-Command, Guardian, and Leader not once but twice. He was thriving within the Cedarwood the day he met his mate-to-be.
Fate brought together Kade and Ava, a young lone wolf promised to the fledgling pack called Poison Path. Though it was love at first sight, Kade and Ava returned to their respective homes after their encounter and spent the several months following dreaming of the other. Eventually the attraction was too strong to hold them apart and beneath the blanket of a moonlit sky, Kade sought Ava out at the Lost Lake. After a night of sharing their recent adventures, the two shadowy wolves profess an unquestionable desire for one another.
Discord in Poison Path sent Ava fleeing from a broken home, while Kade continued his Guardianship of Grizzly Hollow. The two did not see one another again until the winter of 2013. Deep within the frozen Hidden Grotto a chance meeting between Kade and Ava proved their love was too strong to ignore any longer. Kade returned to Grizzly Hollow with his new mate, where they relished in short-lived peace.
During this time, the rabid threat beyond Serpents Pass was so prevalent that all of Relic Lore had been shook. The Leaders of Grizzly Hollow left in search of their abducted child, handing charge of the Cedarwood territory down to Kade - who enlists to fight and eliminate the Aniwaya Pack. As his mate Ava steps up to lead Grizzly Hollow beside him. When the threat was eliminated and the former Leaders of Grizzly Hollow never returned, Ava fell pregnant.
In light of all the changes, Kade and Ava decide to take the remains of the Grizzly Hollow pack across the mountains and find a tribune from the wild water rapids leading to a promising rise overlooking the waters at Secret Falls. They claim the land in the name of Darkwater Rapids. The night of their arrival had barely fallen when Ava went in to labor and delivered four beautiful dark pups into the world - the Attaya line would prosper once more.
The reigning Attaya family and Darkwater Rapids prospered for a long, blissful summer - but their bliss came to an end when a flash flood destroyed the territory and scattered the Attaya family. Since then the Attayas have appeared here and there across Relic Lore,
Notable Facts
- Darkwater Rapids' Game of Thrones inspired motto, "What do we say to death? Not today." is incredibly fitting to the Attaya family, who were thought to have drowned but continue to appear in Relic Lore like ghosts.
- Kade and Ava Attaya were voted Cutest Couple in the 2012 RoW Yearbook.
- The signature look of an Attaya features a dark coat and silver or gold eyes.
