If one did not know better they would have thought a gun shot had gone off with how loud one single broken twig echoed on the stillness of the night air, blowing the cover of the Archer princess. Snow had a bad habit of hiding booby-traps beneath its splendorous powder when hunters were on the move. Hiding simple things like twigs and holes one easily avoided with the twist of a paw that could easily bring a hunt to an end during the warmer months. Clearly the coal coated female wasn't going to get by unnoticed though as the feral feline quickly shifted its stance towards the intimidating wolf with peachy eyes, making a loud array of hissing noises to make sure Morganna knew it was royally pissed at the fact its meal was being disturbed. But all was not lost as the piebald woman remained undetected under the cloak of the shadows, body hunkered down low to the ground to minimize her body's size. A less noticeable form of movement if her luck should prevail and guide her paws away from making the same mishap her partner had done only moments ago.
Silently with the skills honed over the years from many days and nights of practice her ebony limbs slunk over the frozen earth until she reached the pristine location to launch an attack. A small shift in her weight and her back haunches were locked and loaded like a spring ready to burst, fiery amber eyes zoned in on where her target was. Stupid feline wouldn't know what hit it. With a rippling snarl from behind ebony lips her body lunged forward for the hissing lynx, teeth exposed and ready to hang on tight to whatever part of the cat she could snag. Audits pinned back and jaws parting then quickly with a click nothing but air nestled between the points of her fangs. Unlike the bulky wolves, the damn cat had speed under its belt. All it took was one quick twist of its body and the sight of fleeing silver made a b-line for the horizon. Righting herself up with a snort and shake of her pelt a smug smirk came to settle on the lines of her muzzle. "That otta teach you what happens when you come around these parts." She called out after the beast who by now was nothing but a small blurred dot on the white background of the snow.
