It had been a dreary morning. Usually the sky would be painted with brilliant oranges, pinks, and purples. Yet today the sky didn't hold such stunning colors. It was a bland mix between grey and blue. Clouds hanging low bringing a light rain with them. It was a realizing thing from the heat that often plagued Bear with his dark pelt, but he wasn't sure if everyone felt as strongly about the rain as he did. While others might have been doing simpler task he set out in hopes of finding something for the caches. The trails were of no success though. Everything was hiding away protecting their young in dens, holes, and anything they could find. It would be of no use to follow the stale trails around for an hour and come up empty pawed. Heading back towards the center of the pack lands he avoided anything that seemed like it might lead to someone. The only two wolves he would truly be comfortable running into would be @Phyrrus or @Darrah. Everyone else would see sparse of him, although it was evident he was keeping busy within the pack. Bear may have been known as a lurker or hider but he would not be known as a slacker. Finding himself nearing a larger oak tree he took shelter by its roots. The thick foliage upon the tree blocked out what little rain fell from the clouds. A soft breeze blew through the lands. Perhaps a bigger summer storm would show up in the next few days. ”Speech” |
