Thanks for the thread <3
It seemed Squeak agreed to her offer of them teaching one another the ropes of a different kind of hunting. Learning to fish would be... interesting for the tawny female. Sure, water was life giving and all, but she couldn't imagine standing in it for hours like she had watched her friend previously do. Maybe if the water was a little warmer she wouldn't mind so much. But being able to bring a different source of food to the pack caches would most likely entertain the palettes of the other members. It was a quirky taste, but one she could get used to given some time.
Yvly hadn't realized her friend had fallen asleep until she heard the gentle, deep breathes next to her. Swinging her head around, a soft smile adorned her maw as she watched Squeak for a few moments, relishing the look of peace upon her face. In just a day she had learned so much from her, a wolf that couldn't even speak, than she had in nearly three months with some of her other pack members. It spoke of her selectiveness in who she interacted with. Also laying her head upon her paws, the tawny female let out a soft sigh, dark amber eyes fluttering closed as she let the grip of sleep take hold.
imagine we are higher than the arrows,
casually we're breathing with the pharaohs,
tragically we fall just like the arrows.
