Zeta was growing to find that she quite missed the adventure that had been hunting down Erebos with her brother. However, she would never trade it for what she had now. They weren't happy together, not yet, but she felt strongly that they would be. They just had to give each other chance. Mother would grow to love father again, now that she could see for herself that he wasn't going to leave them again. After all, if he was going to take off, wouldn't he have done it by now? Instead, he was fighting with all he had to keep them together and safe through the remainder of the snows. Zeta was proud and hopeful no matter what the weather threw at them.
Zane would see it too, he had to. No matter how bitter the boy was, Erebos was trying to be their father, and that meant the world. The girl thought maybe, her brother and the elder Argyris simply needed some time alone together to bond. That was why she was out here, on her one and milling about for a light snack. Mother was busy with the work of an adult, something she was now, she had to remind herself. Maeve was off on her own as she normally preferred to be, and Zeta was not so unaware as to shadow the young girl twenty-four / seven. That left Zane and Erebos time to be with just themselves, should she disappear; so she had.
Yet while that loose plan was wraveling itself together, what she she supposed to do? Her stomach told her hunt, but her rabbit-like mind yearned for company, excitement, something.
