Namid Vuesain
Takes places just outside of the GH borders, Namid and the fam have come for a visit! Please allow for a round of posts from the Vuesain clan, then Namid will call in @Rook and @Veho. @Oula you are more than welcome to join in when you hear the call, Namid will most DEFINITELY want to meet you!! @Cernan @Neha @Vespertio @Aleister
Set on March 24th, just before nightfall

A huff escaped Namid’s maw as she moved, pausing a moment to take in their surroundings to make sure again that they were where she thought they were. It wasn’t the first time she’d made this journey, but when she left the Cove she couldn’t help but feel the faint shadow of panic that she would become lost again and not be able to find her way back. But, this time she wasn’t alone. In tow were her three children and her Husband. They had left the day before in the afternoon after making sure everything was in order, making sure that Draven was comfortable and that Nathaniel knew what to do in certain god forbidden circumstances and the sort. After many well wishes the family had departed, excitement in the woman’s veins. She could feel her stomach starting to swell, though it wasn’t quite so bad yet and was certainly manageable. But, soon she knew that she would practically be a walking puffer fish. Her graceful walk would turn into more of a waddle and then it would turn into possibly three or more precious pups that would grace their lives with more joy.

After they had made their way down the mountain they’d camped out a little ways off of the base. Throughout the night the queen had had to step out to wretch up dinner, but it was something she’d grown accustomed to. It wasn’t as bad as it had been before she’d born Aleister, Neha, and Cernan, that much she could tell, but it was enough to make her feel almost a little tart. But, she was able to reign in her hormones and avoid snapping at any of them much to her great effort. They’d set off early in the morning after that, traveling most of the day with frequent stops to ensure that she wasn’t putting too much strain on the beings within her and on the pups. To her knowledge, other than Aleister, this would be the longest journey they had been on in their lives yet and she expected them to be sore and tired from it. After catching lunch they had continued on, finally making it to the outskirts of the massive Cedar forest just before nightfall. She’d hoped that her brother and Rook would allow them to spend the night within their borders and maybe spend the next day with them getting to know everything that had happened since their last visit and allow the children to spend the quality time with their uncle.

Stopping just outside the borders of the Hollow, she turned to her family. “I know we are all tired, but this is not only a visit to your uncle. This is also a visit between allies, so I want you all on your best behavior alright? I am very proud of you all for making this journey, it is not easy but I promise you it will be worth it. Ready?” she said, a grin breaking out over her maw. Slowly a wag began to shake her tail to and fro, allowing herself a minute to go to each child and fret a moment over their looks, making sure they looked like the blessings she saw them as. The pale queen also took a moment for her and her mate, making sure he knew that she was thankful for allowed them to do this and pressing a kiss or two to his cheek and a nuzzle to his chest. She had imagined this moment for as long as she could remember, now it was time to make it a reality.

Vespertio Vuesain

There was no denying the journey was a long and tiring one despite the frequent stops made to ensure no excess strain came to his family, both children born and those unborn still developing within the womb of his beloved wife. Namid herself was even handling the trip(one she had made before) on the rough side, often times having to excuse herself from the confines of their temporary dens dug out at night to wretch her stomach free of whatever food item was deemed as dinner. Yet, regardless of the hiccups along the way the Vuesain family had managed to safely make the descent from their mountain palace and into the beginnings of a cedar forest, marking the home stretch for their designated destination for this family vacation.

Soon enough, though, the lofting scent of a well kept border signaled the band of wolves had reached their destination. The voice of his mate quickly breaking the expanse of silence that had fallen between them during the last stretch of traveling, informing each pup how proud she was of them for making such a long trek away from home and reminding them that this was not just a family outing, but also a business meeting of sorts considering their allied status. A gentle chuckle couldn't be suppressed from Vespertio, though, watching his wife fret so over the appearance of their children. Each one receiving their own makeover from Namid in order to meet her standards of proper appearances. "They look fine, m'dear." He cooed while returning the affection she adorned him with in thanks for allowing them to embark on such a journey together, the top of his muzzle nudging against the plush pale fur of her cheek before planting a single kiss to the center of her head once her skull found its way into the fur of his chest. "Are you ready?" He questioned softly, a brow quirking curiously.

Neha Vuesain

She had never traveled this far before! In fact, Neha had never even been on this side of the mountain yet. As if that wasn't exciting enough, what's more was that she and her family were making this special trip to meet her Uncle! A wolf who she had never heard of, yet was eager to meet. If her pack and his were on friendly terms, then all the more reason to be happy. New friends, new faces to meet, were always welcome. Yet Neha was now at the age where she was aware that just was not only a simple play date. Namid had brought the whole family along, including her own father. The very man who had sired her and her brothers, even her unborn siblings now growing in her mothers belly. With a silent prayer to the heavens, she hoped the two adult males would get along.

Despite the tiring journey, complete with a night of rest, Neha could not help but feel energetic. Her body on the other hand, felt differently. Yes, her paws ached from so much traveling, but that didn't dampen her spirits. Or stop her from staying alert, keeping a careful eye on her brothers. @Aleister she wasn't so sure if he'd randomly wander off and vanish again. And bad luck or trouble had a way of finding @Cernan. It was only fair that she played sentry while they were on the move. Her father was likely busy enough watching over his pregnant mate. The realm they had entered was nothing at all like home. Her lakefront property was open and spacious, with patches of roomy forest skimming the lake. This place was the complete opposite. Giant Cedar trees stood hundreds of feet above their heads, tightly placed together. She stared at them wide eyed, entranced. The air was different too. It was more earthy, musky. It reminded her of the dark forest she had found herself alone in, where she met that silver boy, some time ago.

When at last, her parents had stopped, she did the same. The unmistakable smell of marked pack borders told her that they had arrived. Her mother didn't need to repeat herself; Neha knew what this was all about. Despite her rambunctious tendencies, she would contain herself, and her voice, for the sake of her parents. This was the first time meeting her Uncle, and the Hollow wolves. First impressions were everything. "Gotcha." She replied with a crooked grin and a wag of her tail. "I'll be good." Her mother wasn't done yet. Next came a swift but thorough preening, which the fawn and silver girl accepted without much complaint. Her brothers however, being the boys they were, may not take it so easily. After that was all over, she glanced to her siblings, Cernan in particular, with a small smile. She hoped his usual shyness wouldn't get the better of him this time. Padding forward softly, the Princess gently wedged herself part way between her parents, poised attentively.

Cernan Vuesain
It was not the easiest trip for someone with this much weight on their paws. The younger prince wasn't built for endurance by any stretch of the imagination, and had spent most of the journey with his pink tongue lolling from between parted jaws. If the others were a little sore, then he was tired. The largest among them trailed at the back; compelled to keep going for the sake of appearances, (the rest of them were doing okay,) and because he dreaded to think what foul creature would snap him up if he fell too far behind. Neha seemed to have similar suspicions, and she cast a wary glance his way on a routine basis. Trouble had a way of finding them, it seemed.

The pudgy boy was concerned as well; for now they were without the protection of the other adults, and on foreign turf. These dense woodlands were alien to him; suffocating almost. He couldn't see the land around them; couldn't see approaching dangers as well as he was used to. Early on in their trip, the pup had recognized the forest to be the place he had run into Wraith; but decided not to bring up his failed attempt at locating @Aleister. Still, the youth couldn't help but cast a curious eye around the area; just in case the hefty man was lurking nearby.

After many many hours more, the foliage began to shift. The snow beneath their paws thinned from the reduced elevation, and gigantic timbers took the place of mountain views. What would these wolves be like; the ones that lived down here among such behemoths? Their scent came in faintly; building gradually into a powerful wall meant to keep out all intruders. The area was already so damp and heavy smelling, that the combination of fragrances made him snort once. Cernan Vuesain was accustomed to much thinner air. The family pressed on, and when at last the borders had overpowered nearly all other scents; Ma finally signaled their halt.

Gratefully, the tawny agouti padded forward to make up the last of the distance between them all. He hoped dearly that there would be a good, long rest at the end of this trail. The Queen's words caught in his ears and the boy nodded silently, still panting. He knew what to do, and the lake child was as ready as he would be. The lad's own tail swished a couple times in return as he tried to catch his breath; submitting feebly to his dam's larruping grooming with little more than splayed ears and a lowered head. His eyes narrowed slightly in annoyance; he was always a little bit dirty. The boy glanced knowingly at his father; appreciative of the man's attempt at providing relief. Neha was met with raised eyebrows and a wry smirk. This would certainly be interesting, and as for shyness, he made no promises.

Namid Vuesain
Alright guys, there is no posting order in this so please reply whenever you can! @Veho @Rook @Oula come on in!

After plenty of fussing from the queen and, to her pleasure, little complaint and agrees of understanding from her children, she was able to step back and reign herself in. A small grin rose to her lips as she looked at them, sighing. “Sorry my darlings, sorry. I just…I have not seen your uncle in a year you know and…well you know the story of how we were separated and what not. Goodness, I am rambling. Alright, business of course.” she said, words spilling nervously from her maw. A deep breath stilled her frantically beating heart which fluttered in her chest unforgivingly. How, she wondered, would they look? Would Rook still be the charming man she’d met, and would her brother still even be here? It had seemed that he’d had no intention of leaving, especially not with his…special connection to her ex-almost lover. But, things changed as quickly as the seasons and a lot could have happened in the time they were apart.

Her mismatched gaze traveled to her husband as he questioned her readiness and she laughed. “As ready as I will have to be,” she replied. Lifting her maw, Namid called out for Rook and Veho to come to them. Her shoulder brushed against Vespertio’s seeking comfort in his presence. Certainly this was a big step, not only for her but for them. How would he and Veho get along, she wondered. The silvery Macieo could be very protective, this she knew all too well, and she could only hope that it wouldn’t carry over. Just as Veho could be protective, she knew the king could be bull-headed and the need for dominance in him was strong. A nervous side-glance was given before she straightened herself once again, waiting and watching for their approach.

Neha Vuesain
Trying to get this thread going again!

Remaining patiently in place between her parents, yet in full view of anyone who would approach, the Lake Princess waited. Her earthy eyes darted to her mothers face, an understanding smile tugging at her lips. She had heard the tale of how Namid was separated from her Uncle and she found it moving, now with the way things were playing out. Her thoughts went first to Cernan. What would she ever do if fate somehow forced them apart over a great distance? How would she handle it? Next her thoughts shifted to Aliester, the wayward brother. Both she and Cernan had already experienced a brief period in which no one knew where the middle born Vuesain had gone to. She swallowed a small lump starting to form in her throat. Was history destined to repeat itself?

As her mother howled, calling for their Uncle, and the wolves who worked so closely with him, Neha could not keep her eyes from searching the depths of the forest in front of her. Scanning for any sign of movement. She was eager to meet Veho in person, to see if the description her mother had given them, was a true match. That, and she had a dozen questions for the man. She had kept quiet about her desire to study under a truly experienced healer. Now that she had been told medicine was her Uncle's specialty, she was crossing her toes that he would be willing to take on a student.

Silently the agouti father stood by his lover's side as her head tipped back to release her beckoning call into the air, russet tinged ears pivoting forward to listen closely for any response before tipping his own head back to intertwine his deeper howl with that of his wife's. If the familiar call of Veho's sibling was not enough to stir an appearance then surely that of two wolves would do the trick. Like a well tuned song his voice carried over the distance with Namid's, head lowering once the tune had been sung. All they could do now was wait.

Turning his golden gaze upon his children, a smile stretched across his inky lips taking in their likeliness to their parents. An easy distraction from the nerves that began to sink into his veins from the anticipation. Of course answering to her brother was less nerve-wracking than say her father, but the fact did little to quell the storm of questions brewing in his mind. Would Veho approve of him? Was he worthy of having Namid in the eyes of her kin? Slight fidgeting caused his paws to dance in place, the only thing keeping an apprehensive whine from escaping and giving away his mental torture. God he hated waiting.
