While Ismena’s older siblings had been content to simply listen to the stories she’d told, the child seemed to delve much deeper into it. While she was still rapt in her attention, there was a certain amount more of concentration and thoughtfulness that was etched into her daughter’s face and she wondered what on earth it could be that she was thinking of. “M-momma,” she said, and Namid’s soft grey auds slid forward with a tilt of her head. "Big boom.. Take daddy n' Lu-unt? Ay-la take daddy and lu-unt?" she asked with wide eyes.
The mother quickly shook her head, “Oh, no dear. Aella does not take wolves, she only takes her water back and sometimes a tree. Daddy and Lunette are safe, probably in the communal den with everyone else. The might even be on their way back right now, because the storm has stopped,” she assured the girl. Her husband was smart and there was no way that he’d do anything to put their young daughter in danger, that much she knew for a fact. Her head dipped down to swipe a reassuring lick across the top of Ismena’s head. Everything was going to be just fine.
