Gent Lieris
For @Icicle, and one other wolf if anyone is interested.
Dated for July 10th, 2016.

Now that the pups were older and his fatherhood wasn't so shiny new, Gent began to relax a little bit more in the role. He felt comfortable now to leave the territory, so long as @Raela was able to stay behind (both of them being an exceptional distance from the children was still too much for his nerves), and so he was beginning to do so at relative frequency. The pack needed to add to its numbers and skillset, and so he was on the prowl for loners that were in need of a more lucrative arrangement.

This was what brought him down into the Wildcherry Orchard, with its sickening smells and blinding colors. The last time he'd been here, he'd run into @Hecate, and he'd be lying to himself if he tried to say he wasn't hoping he might cross paths with her again. Each time they'd met before, she'd proven to provide quite the interesting conversation. As the man walked amongst the fruit trees, he idly wondered what she'd been up to recently.

A particularly tall tree stood watch over the rest, pulling his gaze with its prominence. The blossoms' perfume was choking his nose, and he so he decided to pursue the vantage point to see if he could spy anyone else twisting amongst the orchard. If no one was to be found, he would gladly move on.

Icicle Whitefang

The large white wolf stepped slowly out of the cool shade, his light pink gaze quickly blinking in pain as he squinted at the sudden brightness of the sunlight, something he’d never get used to, even after almost two years of dealing with it. A soft sigh escaped as he glanced around, summer was upon Relic Lore and Icicle could feel it as the almost ever present sunburn down the back of his neck greeting him with it’s usual dull ache, living on the open planes, even with the sparse trees to provide some relief, though little enough for the them to heal permanently, and so the almost ever present scent of Lavender Hossap rested in the form of a softly chewed up paste over his neck fur, providing some relief.

Icicle glanced around at the various cherry trees, his gaze though, he kept firmly on the ground as he settled down under the shade of one such tree, recently life had improved somewhat for the albino, @Drestig had been overly kind to him, giving him a home, food, some wolves to interact with and even more, the beginnings of a reason to keep on living, life couldn’t be too much worse right?

Gent Lieris
Gent headed steadily for the tree, eyes wandering as he remained alert. With not too much of a gaposis left between himself and the hill, it was realized that the presence of another he'd been seeking was exactly at his waypoint. Squinting against the sun, the king looked upon into the shaded hilltop to see a... pink? wolf? Certain his eyes were tricking him, he inched closer in hopes of garnering more details. It didn't take long to figure out that the wolf's pelt was white, but so thin and sparse that his skin showed through, affecting the man's overall hue. As Gent looked him over again and again, his eyes steadily widened with abhorration. Scabbed and manged, weak and discolored with a reak that was unnatural, he was the picture of disease. Flipping through the catalog of illness that was his mind, he tried to fit what he was seeing into a diagnosis, and could not.

Realizing he knew nothing was worse than the initial shock of witnessing the wretched creature, and as his stomach sunk with stones of apprehension, Gent bared his fangs and began to growl.

The man could be contagious, could bring his taint back to the Springs and to the pack. Could infect his children with it. It was a risk the Lieris was unwilling to take, and so he decided then and there that he would chase this diseased beast North to minimize the damage he could do.
