Come and get it. As her mother rose up, she smiled, her own tail lashing behind her at a steady pace as she readied herself. It all came down to this moment. All her training with @Craw, a much larger opponent to be sure, the miles of border patrol and the sleepless nights imagining up the next great disaster, checking another cache, watching for the swine, building on the loyalty of her pack mates and gently encouraging them to find their place, or claim it. It was time she followed her own advice.
Morganna pulled back to place some distance between herself and her mother, careful to not turn her back on her opponent. Teeth clicked playfully, adding to the building atmosphere as her tail suddenly stopped its wave. It was time to get serious. Despite the difference in size between them Morganna was confident she could get this done, but she couldn't wipe the smile from her face at her mothers willingness to comply. She moved forward then, in a charge. If her chest managed to make contact with her mothers shoulder she would try to place a leg across the older wolfs back. If she was successful it would leave her in a position with access to her mothers ruff. But she didn't expect it to be over nearly so easily.
