Lorcán Artemieva
RE - Lorcan, you find someone's prints in the snow near your personal cache. @Odin @Piety - others welcome as always
After checking up on their newest member Anaia, who was still cooped up in the old coyote den along the abandoned goat track, Lorcan was on his way back up to the monadnock. Growing concerned that he might have been running low on a few medicinal herbs, he wanted to have a proper sort through the cache to see how much of each plant he had left to use through the winter.

Making his way briskly along the plateau of the stone that he called home, the subordinate moved directly towards the three medium sized boulders which sheltered the cache from the worst of the weather. Snow was still thick upon the ground; being higher up from the tundra made it slightly colder up on the plateau which resulted in the snow taking longer to melt even on warmer days.

As he approached the three boulders, he thought nothing of the familiar scent of his pack mates being nearby, until he grew closer. White brows furrowed in confusion as he noticed signs of recent disturbance around the cache site, with freshly moved snow stained dark from muddy paws. Pausing, he lowered his head to sniff at the paw prints and quickly realised that there was not just one but two scents imprinted into the snow.

The first he recognised to be Odin, which, was not too much of a surprise considering the boy had been helping him look after Anaia – although he’d never actually given the younger male permission to retrieve something from the medicinal cache on his own. The second scent was less familiar and it took him a moment to recall the name of another wolf who had joined the ranks recently. Piety was it? His black-tipped tail flicked with irritation as he stepped back, glancing around him for any signs of the new female. What had she been doing with his cache?

Large paws were set into motion as he began slowly moving the muddied mound of snow that concealed the stash of plants beneath, anxious to see what had happened to his precious collection.

Odin Archer

Odin had been trailing the medic up the goat track, although it would seem the older wolf hadn't noticed. He had been watching the way his uncle @Greer moved about, sticking to the shadows and moving so silently, always watching and never seemingly too far away. He appreciated that about the dark man, that he didn't need to speak to be taken seriously by the boys mother and that he always seemed willing to do whatever was needed without complaint. Perhaps once @Anaia was better, he'd track the older Archer down for some more serious sneaking lessons.

As he finally reached the top of the Monadnock however, his attention was diverted by the lashing of @Lorcan's tail and he had to wonder what had him so upset. "Ma got kicked when she was huntin' again an' I gave her a fir stick but she'll probably try ter sneak it back when she thinks I'm not watchin'." He offered as an explaination as to why the earth was disturbed. Truely he thought he had done a better job of covering it back up when he was done than that. Perhaps she had snuck it back already... "She really needs ter get herself a new hobby," he joked. She was far better at fighting than she was at hunting, seemingly forgetting that the latter didn't require her to constantly put her body on the line. Perhaps he would need to have words with @Craw the next time they both happened to be in the same place without his mother present.

Piety Santoro
i forgot about this :x i apologize @Odin @Lorcan

STORY BOOKS ARE FULL OF FAIRY TALES
OF KINGS AND QUEENS AND THE BLUEST SKIES
MY HEART IS TORN JUST IN KNOWING
YOU'LL SOMEDAY SEE THE TRUTH FROM LIES

She really should have asked before just snooping about to find the medical cache to drop off her mushroom. One of her lesser gifts if she did say so. But she really didn't wanna waste too much time. The pale woman wanted to swing by and leave it before attending to other things. Such as getting to know the land better. She had partially decided that the faster she got through things the quicker she could settle down.

The Santoro should have known she would feel guilty about doing that, though. It didn't feel right. What if he had a certain order or ritual and she had messed it up by dropping off one simple mushroom? That was enough to make her return to the crime scene. It appeared she was late, though. There was one tawny like male and one who sported a darker coat (that was still tainted by some lighter colors). The pale woman stood back a bit while she listened to the darker male talk. "Ma got kicked when she was huntin' again." This had to be one of the children Morganna had spoken of. She assumed Odin. Besides, who else here would be referred to by Ma and had been kicked in a hunting accident?

She still held back until the boy was done with his little speech. "I hope she's feeling better?" A simple question as she moved towards the duo. Her head dipped respectfully to the both of them.

Lorcán Artemieva
Dark fur bristled along the curve of his spine the agouti male’s paws were set into motion. Black nails clawed at the recently disturbed ground and his lean forelimbs easily pushed aside a small mound of dirt and rumble as he worked up into a frenzy to access his beloved plant cache. He had only just broken into it, his golden eyes peering into the darkness of the hollow, when @Odin approached him quietly from behind. Jumping slightly at the unexpected sound of the younger male’s voice, Lorcan’s tail thrashed through the air before he paused to turn his head and glance up towards the dark haired boy and listen to his explanation.

Although his anger quickly dissipated, for Odin had done the right thing and had only been helping his mother, the frown across his forehead did not completely soften. A look of confusion tugged at his features as he silently turned his face back to sniff suspiciously inside the cache. He could still smell @Piety and the cache smelt different. Something had definitely been tampered with. It was then that the female herself appeared and, ignoring her question of concern to Odin, Lorcan’s frown was re-directed towards her. “Have you been in here?” He asked, trying to remain polite though the accusation was obvious. Hopefully she would just confess and nothing more serious would come of the situation.
