OCC! @Pip so sorry this took so long! I would have replied to one of your threads but it wouldn't have given him enough time to travel :(

Once again he was on the move. Traveling in the winter took a lot more energy and time. The deep pockets of snow kept irritating the sea wolf thus pushing him to travel south. He hoped the snow wouldn't be as deep and there'd be a bit more prey. Large creamy paws moved easier here than they did in the lowlands. Despite being back in the cedarwood forest the Kersey male still did not realize he was back in the lore. The forest looked much different than they had two seasons ago when he left. When he left all those months ago he had one main focus was finding home and well hoped to find Ayla in the process. He felt guilty for leaving the Mizuno siblings but he figured they'd be just fine. They had each other and while he was their age mate he had always felt like an outsider. Especially since being brought to Relic Lore. So he figured there wouldn't be any harm in leaving the trio and finding Bella Coola on his own. He figured the three of them could look out for one another and he could bring a rescue party back to get them. This "rescue" mission was a main driving force in his desire to get back. Unfortunately the young hunter had succumbed to the elements and exhaustion and became turned around and disoriented for a while. Eventually he was able to get a grip but not before he had turned himself around and traveled back towards the siblings.

Once arriving back in the lore he still had no idea for he hasn't come across a familiar wolf. The one she wolf up north had scents that were faintly familiar but Tyne couldn't place who they belonged to. He didn't spend too long on trying to figure it out for he knew it wasn't that of his family or pack. He missed them terribly, both his family and in all honesty his age mates. No one back home would understand what he'd gone through and how he felt except them. He hoped they were doing alright and that the Hallow wolves were treating them right. They hadn't seemed like a bad group especially since Pip took to them so well. His thoughts were often all he had since he was traveling alone. While the heartbreak caused him to harden significantly when it came to others deep down he hated being alone. He had never truly been alone until he left the hallows and at first he like it. That's all he wanted in his depressed state. But now that its subsided a bit he sort of longed for interaction. A sigh left his inky lips as creamy limbs walked almost aimlessly. He should probably stop and rest again. The tawny male knew he couldn't afford to expend too much extra energy. So the large man searched for a hallowed out tree or snow bank that he could nap in. Large jaws reached down and took a mouthful of snow since he hadn't found a decent water source.

Gonna have this set a few days after the attack by Ophelia. @Tyne

Her heart was healing slowly. Far faster than her wound, however. It seemed Pip could not settle down long enough to allow it to heal properly, much to her packmates' frustration. Yet again, Pip slipped away from Grizzly Hollow, taking great pains to be sure she wasn't followed. While she very much appreciated the time alone with Nineva, she hoped to have the time alone with herself this time. She needed to sort out her thoughts. They were all so jumbled in her head that she wasn't sure what to think or feel anymore.

She gimped across a frozen expanse of the river, eyes automatically falling down to see if any fish were frozen underneath. She was delighted to discover a few actually swimming below the ice, albeit lethargically. Rather than stay and watch them, Pip carried on until she was in the depths of the forest.

After some time, Pip became aware that she was not alone. She would have sighed, lamenting the end of her alone time, but she knew by scent it wasn't a packmate. At least, not a current one. She knew that scent. Her eyes pricked with tears. Tyne? Had he come back?

A few more steps and then she saw him scooping up snow and crunching it in his jaws. He could almost be another apparition, but she didn't feel feverish anymore. Hope flared in her chest. Were Blitz and Niq'x with him? Eyes casting around, her heart fell once more. No. He was alone.

But he'd come back.

Pip let out a soft chirp to call his attention and stood there, shifting more weight on her right foreleg to take pressure off the injured shoulder. She made no effort to approach him. If he wanted a reunion, surely he would come to her.

OCC! Thats fine :)

Snow blanketed everything making it very difficult for the tawny male to find anything that could remotely be used as shelter. This was usually the case and he usually ends up just digging into a snow bank and sleeping in the snow. With a decent amount of day still left he wasn't about to give up just yet. Having walked a considerate distance without seeing a water source he stopped and began to eat snow. He took the cool frozen substance and crunched it beneath his teeth until it melted in his mouth and he drank it. He was completely unaware that another had approached let alone a sea wolf. He reached for another mouthful of snow when the familiar chirp reached his ears. There was no mistaking who that chirp belonged to.

Golden eyes snapped up and searched for the small female. There she stood starkly against the snow. His initial reaction was releif from thinking he had made it home but that quickly melted away as he realized the little Mizuno had also been torn away from Bella Coola. His ears flattened as it dawned on him where he was. He was in the Cedarwood forest, in Relic Lore, far far away from the coast. He silently cursed himself for traveling all that time in the wrong direction. His self loathing would have to wait as he realized Pip just stood there. Ears pressed forward and concern wrote it self across his features as she studied her. The normal, cheery, adoreable, happy Pip didn't seem to be standing in front of him. Instead she looked hurt, betrayed, unsure. Guilt instantly flooded him. Had him leaving really affect her that bad? She still had her siblings, or so he thought. He wouldn't have left if he knew Niq'x and Blitz were going to leave but all three were within the hallows when he went on his own so he thought nothing of it.

With ears pinned back and head held low he made his way to her. Guilt written all over his face. Despite not being blood the Kersey male had always tried his best to protect the little mute from others when her siblings weren't around. He always had a soft spot for her as if she was his own sister. "Hello Pip" he greeted moving closer. He didn't notice the wound on her shoulder or how she was keeping weight off her front leg until he was a few wolf lenghts away. This explained her demeanor a bit more but it only caused his concern to grow. He wanted to ask what happened but knew full and well she couldn't tell him. So he went with a question she could answer "are you okay?". He waited for a response not wanting to intrude upon her personal space.

She bit him. Later, Pip would be horrified by her behavior. But in the heat of the moment, she bit him even as tears fell. You dumb, stupid, stupid boy! No, I'm not okay! I'm not, I'm not! You left! You left and didn't say a word to anyone about why! You left and Blitz and Niq'x left and all of you were cruel! You betrayed the trust of the pack who gave you home and food and shelter and family. She wanted to shout all of it at him. To drop every accusation on him with startling accuracy, an aim meant to wound as she had been wounded by his departure, by her siblings' departure. As she was incapable of doing that, she reached forward and bit him.

It was harder than Pip had ever bitten a family member before in her life, but still far less than most others would have bitten another. Her tail tucked, her head ducked, and the guilt for reacting in such a manner was already sinking in. Even if he deserved it. The muzzle grab was the least that he deserved.

Would he even realize what it was for? He should. But Pip knew he might not. Tyne was softer than her siblings, and not as in tune with her emotions, though he gave it a good shot each time. He should know. She felt like she was shouting it loud enough in her head that he should hear it.

As her small frame moved towards him a surge of hope filled him. That she was in some degree okay or at least not angry with him. Then it happened, she grabbed him by the muzzle and bit. Shock overtook the man instantly but was quickly replaced with an overwhelming sense of guilt. Gold eyes watched the tears flow from her orange ones. He had gotten his answer. No the little sea wolf was far from okay. He let out a whine, not out of pain but more to beg for her forgiveness. His charcoal ears flattened upon his skull and his tail tucked beneath him. She had every right to be mad at him and with a good inhale it was clear he wasn't the only one she was upset with. His coal like nose took in her scent and delivered horrifying news. He couldn't find neither Niq'x nor Blitz's scents on her. They had left too?

It took a few moments for it to fall together in his head. He knew he hadn't said goodbye but he honestly didn't think it would matter but if the other two Mizuno siblings left with out a word too...his eyes widened with the realization and another whine escaped him. "Oh Pip. I - I. I didn't realize I am so sorry. I never meant for you to end up alone. I thought the three of you would be fine without me and that I'd find home and get someone to come back with me to get you and Niq'x and Blitz..." His voice trailed off knowing how pathetic he sounded. Tyne's gaze fell to his creamy paws for he couldn't bare to look at her. He was ashamed and for the first time in over half a year his eyes began to water.

She had been crying far too often lately. It was truly embarrassing. Pip sniffled and swiped at her face before looking back at @Tyne as he offered horrified apologies. Dummy, she wanted to accuse as if he should have known all along. While he may not have known her siblings would leave, he should never have left without saying goodbye to anyone. He should have given some kind of warning, some inkling.

At least he seemed sorry. Really sorry. More guilt came over Pip as she saw his reaction. She was too harsh. It wasn't her place to be so stern. But she still wanted to argue with him. She hadn't been alone. She had the Pack. She just hadn't had all of it.

Seeing tears in his eyes now, she dropped her head and sighed. That was on her. So it was on her to fix it, too.

Giving a chirp to gather his attention, Pip nodded towards home. Back towards Grizzly Hollow territory. Back to where she - and he - belonged. The Hollow wolves had accepted them, welcomed them into their family. And Tyne was going to come right back there with her and apologize or she'd...well. Maybe she'd just have to bite him again to make him see reason!

OCC! Feel free to nip him in the butt to get his mopey self going haha

His guilt consumed him. The large tawny male curled into himself as much as possible as all his hurt and every other emotion he'd been shoving down threatened to spill out. There had been so much that had happened and he had not handled it well. From being ripped from their home, to being dumped in a strange land, to him basically falling in love and then having her rip his heart out. He hated that he had hurt the little sea wolf. It was something he swore to never do. He hated that he was crumbling so easily and cursed himself for being weak. His charcoal dusted ears caught her sigh but he didn't dare to look up. Instead he kept his head on his paws and eyes on the snow. It wasn't until she chirped did his golden eyes find her orange ones.

She motioned to the woods behind her with her head. It took a moment for it to click in the Kersey mans mind. She wanted him to go with her back to the Hallows. He couldn't go back though, he had left without a word, he deserted the pack. They would never accept him back especially since the other sea wolves had left as well and based off Pips reaction they had left on bad terms as well. He gave his head a small shake. "They wont except be back...I - I left with out a word. I'm a deserter" his head fell once more. She should just leave him there to wallow in his regret to punish him for his actions. He felt absolutely no self worth and wished he could just disappear.

After Tyne calls for them, request for either Veho or Yvly? c:

The mute lowered her head and sighed. It was difficult to stay upset with him when he looked so miserable and guilty. Turning, Pip walked back to him and bumped her head beneath his chin to lift it higher. He had no way of knowing his siblings' intentions to leave as well. And maybe he felt guilty leaving without them anyway. Like it was breaking up the family. Of course, he wouldn't have broken up the family at all if he'd stayed. Still. Hindsight couldn't rewind time either.

Not leaving @Tyne with much option she tugged a little at the fur on his chest before she began leading him back to Grizzly Hollow. It was difficult for her to be so stern with him. Pip had only ever been the meek and gentle with her packmates, submitting to any will of theirs. That she had to take charge for even a moment left her feeling itchy and strange. It was not a welcome feeling at all.

So now that she had his attention and, at least in the interim, some form of cooperation, Pip meandered over rotten logs and around bramble bushes, over trickling creeks and under half-fallen trees. Finally, the pair made it to the edge of pack territory. Though she couldn't be certain her voice would be heard, she let out a chirp for any within ear shot, but looked expectantly at Tyne to call for them himself not just because he was physically able to howl, but because he should make his own case to either @Veho or @Yvly. It would be up to them to decide if he should be allowed back in.

He fully believed that the Hallow leaders wouldn't allow him back. Especially knowing now that the rest of their band had left as well. But if it would make his age mate happy then he would have to comply. Her move to lift his head with her muzzle caused a small half smile to start to form on his inky lips. He was still undeniably guilty and reluctant to go with her, but as she pulled on his fur he let out a sigh. He couldn't abandon her again, couldn't leaver her to fend for herself. Sure she had a pack but he didn't know them and wasn't sure if they'd protect her. His golden gaze looked her over and fell once more on the injury on her shoulder. Had he known it was a packmate who had attacked her he would not have returned with her so easily.

Tyne let Pip lead the way making sure she didnt hurt herself while navigating over logs and around shrubs. It was time for the Kersey male to quit being selfish and start looking after his own - even if they were upset with him. As they walked he couldn't shake the disbelief that the older pair of the Mizuno triplets would just up and leave without her. He knew they wanted to go home and hated the forest but never in a million years would have guessed that theyd leave. Having been so enthralled in his thoughts the tawny male didnt notice they had arrived until her chirp crashed into his ears. Suddenly looking up and stopping he realized he had almost walked right over the clearly marked borders. Remembering what had transpired when Blitz had made that foolish mistake creamy limbs quickly back petaled until he was a safe distance away. Pips orange gaze looked expectantly at him and he knew she wanted him to call for the leaders. A long sigh came from him as he reluctantly tipped his head back calling for the regining pair. His call held no urgency as the last note rang out. The young hunter tried to remember @Veho's name but had no luck. And little did he know that @Yvly, the woman who had told him where Pip originally was, had since taken over as lead female. So he waited for them to answer keeping his gaze on his paws. He still couldn't bare to look at the small sea wolf. He shouldn't have ever left.
