After @Serach had initiated his playful challenge for a spar and Dread returned the gesture, Dread had bounced away, teasing Serach to follow him into the forest so they would not bump and jostle into the others if they wished to hang around the area. Though he knew Ice most likely wouldn’t mind joining in, he wasn’t sure if the others would mind so much.
Glancing behind him as he pranced forward, to make sure Serach was following him, Dread dodged around the dark trees before stopping in a smaller clearing not far from where the meeting had taken place. Dancing around on the spot as he waited for Serach to catch up, Dread briefly wondered how they would make it through the winter with such low numbers.
But the young wolf shook the thoughts out of his head. They would thrive, surely. The leaders seemed to know what they were doing and appeared to want to keep the pack strong, regardless of what had just happened with the change in leadership. And he could get behind wolves like that.
