Dread Flint
just after I just can't let you go thread

After @Serach had initiated his playful challenge for a spar and Dread returned the gesture, Dread had bounced away, teasing Serach to follow him into the forest so they would not bump and jostle into the others if they wished to hang around the area. Though he knew Ice most likely wouldn’t mind joining in, he wasn’t sure if the others would mind so much.

Glancing behind him as he pranced forward, to make sure Serach was following him, Dread dodged around the dark trees before stopping in a smaller clearing not far from where the meeting had taken place. Dancing around on the spot as he waited for Serach to catch up, Dread briefly wondered how they would make it through the winter with such low numbers.

But the young wolf shook the thoughts out of his head. They would thrive, surely. The leaders seemed to know what they were doing and appeared to want to keep the pack strong, regardless of what had just happened with the change in leadership. And he could get behind wolves like that.

Serach Donata
Note to self, Dread is going by Tenebrae.

Teeth snapping against the air with a metallic click, Serach growled playfully as he challenged Tenebrae to a spar. The younger wolf responded positively, and Serach waited only to tell Aponi that he would see her soon before he gave pursuit. They were not going far, and with the wolf tracks clear in the snow, it didn't take long for the leader to catch up. In comparison to himself, Tenebrae also stood out starkly against the wintery landscape - he was easy to pick out amongst the trees.

Stopping a few yards in front of Tenebrae, Serach surveyed him for a just a moment, his tail wagging playfully above his back. He'd been in the pack for a little while now, but this would be their first real interaction beyond pleasantries. Making a mental note that he could not let that much time go by again, he set that thought aside and got straight to the point of why they were there. "Let's see what ya got," he said, lowering himself into a bow once more before smacking his forepaws against the snow in an invitation to play. But he did not wait for the black furred man to attack first, but instead pushed himself off of his hind legs and lunged forward, hoping to catch Tenebrae off guard and pushing him back with Serach's shoulder.
