His stay here had become unintentionally extended. Laike found himself at a bit of a dead end with what to do. He could keep sticking it out as a lone wolf, go and try to find @Rory (or even @Hecate), or eventually seek out the Gent that Hecate had spoken of. A heavy sigh left his lips as he practically walked circles around a few trees. He knew he couldn't lurk about here forever. Some snotty girl had already told him a pack was here. Surely they'd think strange of him lingering about like a ghost.

The large male moved south away from the scent of the pack. He could feel the snow piling up on his back. Soon enough he'd need to take a break. Perhaps a nice nap would clear his head. He could set out in the night to hopefully have a silent travel. It wasn't that he didn't like others or socializing but he figured all of that could wait until he was somewhere he felt more content with himself. How long would that be, though? The guilt of leaving behind his brother began to gnaw at him but he was quick to swat it away. Laike knew he was much better off away from Tikhon. Hopefully, his younger brother was growing a spine out there on his own.
