The idea of sparring with Kerberos brought on a titch anxiety, and a strong dose of excitement. Wrestling with dad or Treyah was okay and everything. He liked to think he could learn a lot more from Kerb. As they made their rounds on part of the draw that needed extra enforcement, Reiko was eager to finish. As soon as they were done he'd been promised a good match between them. He hurried to rub his side against an old charred tree, swiftly moving to the next to do the same. He had to quell the whine in his throat. Hold the question of are we done yet? He was not sure where they were going to finish, and often bright yellow eyes looked to his companion hopeful he would say now.
Kerb was usually leaving his own mark, and hurrying to the next to give much of a reply. Reiko couldn't help wonder if he was fighting a smile. A soft huff, he tried to emulate the silver wolf. Moving with purpose as if they had all the time in the world, and they would soon be sparring. It did not feel like it. It felt like they'd been trekking most of the morning. Forcing himself to slow, he lifted a leg to a rather pathetic looking bush. Then headed off to hit another. Why he felt a good chunk of his day would be taken with Kerb, he did plan to challenge Treyah in a friendly contest afterwards. This couldn't take all of day light.
