Kerberos dug up the catch and nudged a rabbit toward her – she picked it up without question, knowing she likely would ot be able to finish all of it before she started to feel the nausea. She’d have to try and eat as much as possible and then the rest her mate could finish off… that was if she could stay awake long enough to eat any of it at all. Her pace was slow and lumbered, evidently tired from either her seemingly chronic lethargy or the life inside of her sapping at her energy to give them energy of their own.

She had no idea how many were in there, but she liked to think that there was more than one child nestled safely inside her, developing until they could be delivered and enter their parents world. She settled in next to him, their fur brushing up against one another as she took a bite of her own rabbit, glancing at him on occasion. He was watching her carefully, and she figured it had to do with her noticeable lack of appetite as of late. She’d get hungry, then find it hard to touch the food she received either from hunting, the caches, or someone giving her food.

She managed to get through three or four bites before she slowly drifted off to sleep, her head resting against her mate as she descended into a nap.
