Each day that passed she tried to move around as much as possible to avoid complacency. The urge to runaway was always strong as there were no lands here that were familiar to the aging dove. Lachesis had chosen a part of the woods that she was quite unfamiliar with but she knew if she didn't venture, she would never want to stay and make roots. So even as she wandered into lands she didn't know, Anastasia was pleased by what she saw. A large body of water with what looks to be islands within -- islands that she wasn't sure she could reach easily but wanted to try. Perhaps not today but it would be nice to see what treasures lies upon the lake's sandy shores.
It was easy to recognize her need for companionship but even now she could tell that Lachesis was different and so was she. Anastasia had wasted a lot of time running when she should have spent it trying to make a future. If anything, she needed to know how to adapt rather than to fly. So the woman breathed in and out deeply before stepping forward into the water so it reached the middle of her legs, water curling around the white tressels of her fur. The tip of her tail soaked within the water as she tried to find the peace she wanted so that staying here confidently would be no issue at all. If only she knew or had reason to try; only then would it be easy.
