Flopping onto her side, Merida whined lightly as her head ached at the movement. It had started not long after the water started falling from the sky - rain, she remembered it was called - and wondered if her mama knew how to fix it. maybe after a nap, the pup considered, curling up tightly and covering her nose with her tail. She was tired after scampering around the forest, exploring every inch that she was able to. The forest had so many interesting smells and sights to take in!
Even after being told they could explore by themselves for a short time, as long as they didn't go far, her parents had told her and her brother to be careful. Merida did not know how far was too far, unknowingly always traversing a little too far but knew that her mother disliked it when she came back to the den, babbling about the new thing she found over here or over there.
But Meri liked finding new things and new places, even at the expense of disapproving looks from her parents when she told them her stories But right now, all she cared for was getting rid of this headache and taking a nap. Surely she couldn't get into much trouble for that right?
