The white wolf stretched languidly sprawled out on her back in a narrow patch of sun that lit up the snow that surrounded her. It was easy enough to dodge the wolves that lived further to the west, there couldn't be more than four adults as it was, and she was just a loner passing through, hugging the trees towards the edge of the mountain, convinced in her heart that this was the one her father had spoken of.
@Wendigo, of course, wouldn't be far if he wasn't spying on her somewhere between the trees. She was just about to close her dark orange eyes when the sound of stones tumbling down a nearby cliff caught her attention. Her head tilted to catch sight of the wooly white beast descending from on high. She slowly rolled to her front, it hadn't seemed to have spotted her yet.
