RE: The nearby plants sparkle with autumn frost. Anyone welcome with a special shout out to the Bend wolves :)

The early morning rays shone through the trees was the blonde girl walked the border. Since her talk with Aponi and the disappearance of Zev, Rosalin had been filling her time with pack duties. Doing border patrols, filling caches and anything else needed of her. She had to admit it wasn't as bad as she thought but she did wish she was back home. Then she could be doing other things rather than doing work that she believed was beneath her.

She walked with heavy steps as her mind wandered to the dark man that had saved her life. He had said he was going out to get some herbs and would be back in a days time. But it had been almost a full moon cycle since she last saw him. Was she worried? Ya she was but she had a feeling he could take care of himself. Loneliness filled her more than anything. With the dark man basically being the only one she interacted with she had no one since he was gone.

Summer was gone and fall was nearly over as well. Emerald eyes looked around as she walked and could easily see the beginnings of winter appearing. On the plants there was frost but soon it would be melted away by the suns warm rays. That wouldn't last forever, for eventually nothing would be able to melt it away. And that was something the blonde girl dreaded.

Lila would have technically left by this day, so can we say this takes place November 10th?

With the absence of the male, Lila was surprised Rosalin remained. She had thought they were "together" in some form as they never quite seemed apart. All the others who had joined together had disappeared together.

Each day in some form or another Lila spotted the pale wolf, and never once did she request to look for her friend. Instead, she was doing for the pack. Filling caches instead of emptying them, and it was often she scented her along the borders. It was only for these reasons she found herself following her trail this chilly morning. Feeling now was as good as any to get to know her. They were rather close in age after all, and Lila was curious what reasons had she for leaving her home. If this was where she really wanted to be. Or was just a stop along the way.

Quickening her stride, with a handful of ready words, she tried to catch her without seeming like she'd been stalking her. Even though that was exactly what she had been doing. Thankfully, her blond figure came into view. "Care if I join you?" She called out, stilling her paws for a second, waiting for an answer. She didn't want to leave her with no choice, though would she really say no?

It sure is a beautiful morning," she commented, eyes taking in the sparkling white of the woods.
