Aurora Heights just to be the girl that walked a 1000 miles to fall down at your door

Thankfully, she was not met with grimaces and ill news. She could tell by Greer's expressive eyes the pride he held in the child they had bore, Revon. Ember was thrilled for them, and this shone on her pale face. Kyna's daughter, she assumed by the name; likely to be just as brilliant as her mother. The Reinier couldn't wait to meet her, to get to know her and help care for her as she grew. She should've been here sooner for it all, but wouldn't let herself regret. At least she had gotten closure during her time gone.

Kyna went on to express how much she missed Ember, how dearly she still valued their friendship, and it made the blonde woman's heart sing. She nuzzled back against her alpha's touch, silently thanking the universe that she had been able to find her again. She would not risk losing her again.

"I'd like to meet them. And your daughter. Everyone."

She was ready to return to that familiar den, to settle in and see those new faces. To share stories of what had occurred in each others' absence and, eventually, drift off cocooned in the warmth of belonging.

As expected the pale wolf appeared genuinely pleased to hear about their daughter. He knew that her departure had been a personal one; therefore, the shadow did not fret over the pale Reiner not being acquainted with the younger Archer. She still had loads of time to bond with the little spitfire—soon it would be as though Ember had never left.

He nodded softly in response to the pale wolf, his long legs stepping to the side as he motioned for the two females to continue toward the Heights. Greer get food for Ember, he commented, his voice low as he offered the returning fae a warm smile. He had sort of barged into their reunion and wanted to give them some time to catch up—without his looming presence. Without waiting for a response from them he set off toward one of the caches in hopes of collecting something fresh for the pale Reiner…

Greer set off to get food for the young woman and Kyna smiled fondly – he was a good catch.  A good man.  Her tail gave a little wiggle before her gaze fell back onto her pale friend, more than content to accompany her on the walk into Aurora Heights and start to fill her in.  About Iyes and Heigen, about Tinley, about the recent almost-scuffle with Willow Ridge and the new wolves living with them now.  It was a lot, but, well--  Kyna had missed this dearly.  Missed Ember.  She wouldn’t give the other wolf up for anything now that she had her back.
