If he was honest it felt nice having her tucked against him. He wasn't close enough to anyone in the pack where he could just curl up against them at night and he surely wasn't going to try that with Moon. She would probably snap at him if Tagg didn't and he didn't want that sort of pain in his life. However, it was different with the thin female pressed against him. They were simply trying to stay warm from the coldness that radiated around them. She colder than he was but soon he could feel her own warmth radiating pleasantly against him.
Solas tipped his head with a bemused expression to look at her as she shook her head in response to his comment. She couldn't ask him? There again was a silent response and it suddenly clicked in his head. You can't talk can you? He whispered at the realization. She hadn't said a word during their whole interaction. In fact, she hadn't made any sound at all. Was she simply unable to talk at all? It was confirmed with yet another silent response as she pressed her nose to his in thanks while her tail thumped beside her.
A small smile slid across his features. You're welcome.
If you aren't in a hurry I'll help you catch something to eat once this storm is over. He told her carefully watching her expression this time so that he could try and figure out what she was thinking. I'm Solas by the way. He didn't expect her to give her name but at the very least he could tell her his, especially since he had been kinda rude with his comment now that he was aware of why she hadn't asked.
