RE:Windy weather and moist snow have caused snow rollers to form all over.

Marisol firmly believed that she wasn't built for this weather, that no one was. Those who decided to reside this far north got everything they deserved, they had no right to bitch about how cold it was but as a visitor she got a free pass, she could bitch and moan till her heart was content. Not that it ever was. She'd been in these parts once before and it had gotten too much, too shitty. What was the point of staying? Someone had tried to poison her, what sort of nut case would remain after that?

Either way, she would avoid the mountain, nothing good had happened there and she much preferred lower altitudes.

There was no denying that she didn't want to be here, even now. But what choice did she have? After leaving the Lore she had-stupidly- retraced her footsteps and well...that hand't ended well at all. So here she was, on the run yet again. But this time it was worse, winter was clearing giving it's all and making the world even more shitty than it already was. The snow had no right to be this deep, moving about was a chore with her short legs and skinny frame. If only she was a little bit taller, more leggy, then she'd have no issue.

But nope, Mari- as always- was stuck with the short end of the stick. She would have cried, if she had that sort of softness left in her. These days she was hard and unmoving, like granite.

She continued to wander through the silent, white meadow only to stop when she came across... strange tumbled formations. From one angle they looked lumpy, like rocks , but from another they almost appeared to be roses made out of snow. Mari had never seen anything like this, it was just about enough to distract her, to perk her interest as she sniffed and snuffed around them, trying to figure out how they came to be.

Sven Archer
the devil is & always will

He was out scouting, normally done with @Adeltra but she had yet to return. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't growing worried, uncertain of what the holdup was in delivering a pup back to her parents. Were it to take another week or so, he would suck up his distaste for @Morganna and head out to Pookastone to find out for himself. Hopefully, the stranger they'd taken in with Greer's daughter hadn't caused trouble, though with the numbers she'd had his aunt should've been able to stomp him out quickly.

Sven stretched his spine and limbs, taking a moment to shake the thoughts from his head. He couldn't let anxiety poison him, especially over matters that were more likely trivial than anything. Addy was getting experience, Morganna would curb any danger that might come her way, and Revon would make it home eventually. At least her parents were aware of her safety.

The bales of snow dotting the landscape and disturbing the flat horizon of the meadow were not an unfamiliar sight to him. They had happened before, and proved to be one of the few fun things about winter. There were no herds on the wind, so he decided to investigate the rollers. He'd have to bring @Romanov out before they were broken down and show the boy, maybe get him to have some fun. He'd been trying to balance letting him have his space and ensuring he didn't feel forgotten or allowed to fade out of sight completely.

Finding one that hadn't been curled too tightly, he was able to wriggle into the tunnel it formed. For a moment, he was taken back to his childhood, one of the few fond memories where he and @Skoll had played something similar to hide and seek. When he popped out the otherside, he almost swore he saw him in the distance. Sven froze, half out the bale and half within, staring at the black-and-gray miniature of his father.

be a gentleman.

It took Marisol longer than it should've for her to realise she was no longer alone. She saw a blur of white move in the corner of her eye, but at first thought little of it. Only when it moved a little too much to be nothing did she turn away from the snow roll. Not so far away, near a snow curl of his own was a white wolf, staring at her like she had bird shit on her face, or something.

A scowl worked it's way onto her features as she squinted back at the stranger, who also happened to have moon eyes.

"What?" She snapped, feeling increasingly self conscious. What was he gawping at? She raised a paw to swipe at her face, hoping to dislodge whatever had his interest. But of course, her efforts were fruitless, there was nothing wrong with her, the issue was with him. "Nobody told you it's rude to stare?"

Her tail lashed behind her as the frustration grew. She'd been back in these parts, for what an hour or so at most and she was already getting shit. What was it with wolves around here? Which wasn't to say they were better anywhere else, but still did her return to the Lore have to be so vexing, like a sign of things to come?

Dios mio, she hoped not. She'd flip otherwise.

"You got a problem with me, that it?" She'd noticed the scent of a pack lingering on the wind, but she wasn't close enough to be stepping on their toes. Unless he was one of those, greedy bastards, all pack wolves were the same. What they had was never enough, they always wanted more.
