Despite @Ravenna and @Leotie's concerns, Sven felt in his bones that this was the right course of action. He wouldn't surprised too if there was an uneasiness, at least with his cousin, that he wouldn't be able to hold his tongue either, that his abrasive nature might make things worse. This was a chance as well to prove that he was capable of being diplomatic. There shouldn't be any hard feelings between the packs, even if he was far from happy with what had been done to Leotie. Still, none of the pieces he'd been given upon his return had added up to any kind of picture that he could make sense of. Something was off, had gone wrong, and he would either smooth things over now, or ensure that the two packs could at least co-exist despite whatever differences had arisen in his absence.
As he approached the borders of the pack's territory, he dissected the scents that emanated from the land while maintaining a respectful distance. Naira's scent was missing. Not just faded, but gone. That was quite the large flag in itself. At least Kerberos' presence was easily gleaned, however, the man clearly still a dominant force within the Draw. If he had any kind of shot of talking things through, it would be with the wolf that had once been his friend. Even though Leotie had told him that Kerb had been one of the wolves to escort her from the pack.
With hope for the best, but prepared for the worst, Sven tilted back his skull and sent up a howl, requesting Kerberos' presence alone.
