Weldering Darksidy
It had been several months since the black masked male last set foot within the Cedarwood Forest Yet he could see no change. He could also remember it well, his memory had been foggy at first finding it hard to picture his old home but now that he was here it all came flooding back to him. As padded down a worn and familiar trail he soon found himself at the edge of a small grassy clearing in the cedar forest. A few rocks scattered around here and there and to one corner of the tiny green sat a boulder that made him grin to himself. He quickly rushed forwards taking his time to rub his flank up against the smooth granite surface as he passed it before inspecting the opening hidden just to the side of it, his old den. It was still abandoned, well that is until now. His plan was to reclaim it and once again settle into the life of a lone wolf within relic lore.

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
When a soul returned to Relic Lore, they always seemed to come in through Cedarwood. At least, that's what Borlla had experienced. Part of her wondered if she'd encounter any of her family returning now, other than Indru, since he was already here. Her honey-hued eyes scanned the dark trees, and squinted as a chilly breeze buffeted her pelt. She was looking for familiar eyes. Any eyes at all, even. But it all seemed relatively quiet. The young girl drooped a bit, and sighed, though it came out in a bit of a cough. She swallowed back another, and then fell silent, listening, waiting to hear any signs of anything.

In the dead of winter, it was absolutely silent. There were no birds to interrupt the forest, nor squirrels or anything! It was just quiet. Despite her wish to see her family again, she enjoyed the quiet. A smile could spread on her muzzle once more, and she liked that. It felt funny that just a few weeks ago, she wanted to run away. The thoughts still buzzed around in her mind, conflicting with one another. She'd always be different, Borlla was sure. She'd just have to get used to it.

As nothing else seemed willing to break the wonderful silence, Borlla took a step forward, then looked around cautiously, obviously with an evil thought in her mind. Not her most sinister act yet, but the idea that she would break something so peaceful was quiet satisfying to her. Her haunches wiggled a bit as she swooped forward, and howled into the sky. It was a strange sound, something the girl still hadn't quite mastered, since she was still young, but it wasn't as painful as it used to be. As it hung in it air, she let it go, and made herself even with the ground again, a look of satisfaction on her face. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."

Weldering Darksidy
When Weldering first arrived in Relic Lore back last Summer he had wandered into Cedarwood first, it was his favourite place. So familiar and welcoming - because this was the part of Relic Lore he got used to before anywhere else. It jut went to show how comfortable he was with the territory seeing as he made his den here also. The silver and black brute spent a while merely stood outside of his reclaimed den. His large paw pads flexing as the snow pressed between his toes. Taking in the various scents and sounds for a while. Even Weldering had noticed the eerie stillness of the forest. His frown carving into a concerned frown almost ready to turn into his den and get some much needed rest hoping that it would change when he woke up. But then a howl soared into the air, it's source was not too far either.

He could not just ignore the call, it seemed familiar but yet whom it belonged too he could not say. Just that it was a she-wolf. With his frown faded from his mask Weldering turned now heading towards the wolf who had called almost expecting to bump into a klatsch or wolves. All mingling and discussing things randomly. Though as he drew closer it became apparent that nobody else was here, it was only them. His twilight blue gaze glancing over the female unsure of who she was. The Tainn and Swift Rover scent however was recognisable and for that reason he was cautious. He had been hoping to see Ioni or even Junai but instead there was a fully grown Tainn that was neither.

Vlarindara
The snow had settled over the land she had found, and with it, lack of smaller game. She had found them, but scarce were the rabbits and the squirrels, not enough at all to fill her stomach, let alone the stomach of her young companion. Vlar had ranged away from their temporary home, leaving Raigo to sleep in the warmth of a small hollow. Winter was a time for wolves to use their stored fat, but to wolves like she and the young pup - it was a dangerous time. The warbling howl froze the female in her tracks, her head lifting and ears training on the origin of the sound. It sounded young and inexperienced, but it did not mean she was alone.

Vlarindara slipped forward, crouching low enough that her belly almost brushed the crystalline top of the snow. She lifted and placed her paws with determined precision - if she had to run, she knew she would have to take the same path in this unfamiliar territory. At the scent of wolves, she crouched once more, her belly rubbing along the snow this time as she froze and listened, every sense straining towards the pair. She knew it was a pair as the two scents were intermingling in her nose. Vlarindara moved slightly as the wind shifted, letting it ruffle her fur and carry it behind her, downwind of the other canids.

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
Most of the past few months, both away from and in Relic Lore, had been kept out. She knew that she'd been away from home, but it was hardly a super fun time. That's why she'd come back. And she didn't even want to begin to think about her stupid sister, Ioni, and a wolf who she thought had been her friend. Of course, it was possible that she didn't quite understand what a friend was at the time, being little and all. Anyone could have been her friend. Even that crazy wolf Marsh. Either way, she'd probably tear Ioni a new ear if she ever saw her again, and...Well, she didn't even want to get started on that other wolf.

It was fun to stand in the snow, Borlla'd realized, when for once she could truly tower over it and not worry about being consumed by it if there happened to be a dip in the earth. It was like for the first time, she was realizing how almost adult she really was, and it was fun! She really had freedom now, and who would have to worry about her getting eaten? No one! And strangers wouldn't have to rescue her. It was perfect now! While all of these thoughts whizzed through her mind, she'd been doing a leaping dance in the snow, trying to rip thin branches off of the trees with her teeth as she jumped into the air. But eventually they quieted, and she dropped, and sat, suddenly listening for signs of anything. That was what adults did, right? And she had howled, so clearly someone would come. That was the point.

She heard slight crunching sounds a few yards and slowly turned to see who was coming towards her. At first, her eyes had widened, obviously surprised and there were tinges of excitement. Of course, she then remembered some things, and her gaze slowly narrowed and the girl hunched. But he looked confused, like he didn't recognize her. <b style="color:#32527a">"Don't play games with me, Weldering." For the first time in forever, his name easily rolled off of her tongue. Perhaps if she hadn't been so irritated, she would have looked surprised again, but all of her other emotions were just being consumed. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."

Weldering Darksidy
The black masked male had not forgotten his own history within Relic Lore, it was not particularly great but he felt as though this was his home now. He had nowhere else to go. He also felt a swell of anger building up on the inside when thinking about both Indru and Ruiko, how dare they think that the entire territory of Relic Lore belonged to them. How dare they act some obnoxious and rude towards lone wolves - not allowing them the freedom to do whatever they pleased. That hazy day of fighting was stuck in his mind now as he glared at the young Tainn girl a little puzzled. Though not as confused as when she turned, her features softened as she instantly recognised him.

'Don't play games with me, Weldering.'

He couldn't believe it. Standing to his full height the black and silver male frowned for a moment until the she-wolf's vocals gave her away. Looking at her harder with his bright twilight blue eyes. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Wait... Borlla?" He muttered quietly. The faintest wag of the tip of his tail was made as he begun to tilt his muzzle to the side. He was right, it was her! <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"Borlla! You've grown so much. I... I couldn't recognize you. You're an adult now." He grinned, happily forgetting the past events and enjoying the present. Every so often lifting the tip of his blackened nose checking to see if anyone else (mainly Tainn's) were close by though since the other she-wolf was upwind he did not notice her presence. His attention switching back upon Borlla once more. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"How have you been?"

Vlarindara
It was the Joyous sound of greeting that the female noticed first, working to keep her body low to the ground as she could get. There were at least two wolves, one a male, and a female being the other of the pair.. Of course, she simply didn't want to have to tousle with two wolves, that would simply mean trouble for her. Despite her reluctance to get quite so close to the possibly dangerous situation, she was curious about the wolves that lived here in this land. If they were much too strong, she'd simply have to leave and find other lodgings rather than risk a run-in with them.

Her ears were shifted forward as she took refuge behind a fallen log, using it to hide her form, and something of her scent so she could listen without fear of discovery. From the way the male spoke, he'd been gone some time -or the female had. Long enough to grow into an adult, surely, she couldn't imagine a pup being out on their own - but then again, her own charge had come into the same trouble it seemed. Vlarindara settled into the snow, creating herself a small bed before curling her tail up over her paws. It was cold, but curling into a tighter ball did quite a bit to conserve warmth - and that's just what she did while working to discover more of the wolves in this land. she simply had to pray that the wind wouldn't shift and give her position away.

Of course, no sooner had that thought left her head when the wind did shift and she froze, her entire form straining to notice any change of the two only yards away.

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
It didn't seem to take him too long to figure out who she was. Had she really grown that much? Had it really been that long? Her anger was temporarily displaced by sadness, and her paws shuffled in the snow. She wished she could just be happy about all of this, but it was hard. A low rumble swelled in her throat, and the sadness was tossed away at his own happiness. He didn't seem to recall anything that he'd done. Everything that made Borlla so angry. Maybe it was an adult thing to do, but it certainly wasn't a Borlla thing to do.

The girl scowled, or tried to. It was true. She did want to be happy. The rumble faded, and she drooped a little bit. <b style="color:#32527a">"I've been okay, I guess. I haven't been back here long, but before the water returned. You disappeared." Her eyes touched the ground, then lifted as the wind moved, carrying with it a foreign scent. The girl whined, and turned her head, sniffing the air. Even if there was another wolf around, it was no big deal...There were lots of wolves. Not to mention that she couldn't even see the wolf she smelled. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."

Weldering Darksidy
He could recall what he had done, everything. He was a poor misguided soul and even now he still cared about his friend Ioni despite what happened. I mean if Ioni had not cared about him then why had she backed down to help spare Weldering from a damn good thrashing or even death. It had been a shame that Borlla had to see the fight, the same with Junai. But it did not exactly go to plan, it had never been his intention to upset the young girl that was for sure. Weldering could see the awkwardness she held as he sighed softly.

She had noticed that he had left Relic Lore? Weldering was almost touched that someone had actually taken notice of him and what he had done. He thought that nobody would have even noticed. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"I joined Midnight Plateau, but when the water disappeared Honijo left and then I decided to go as well. Then the water came back... and then I did too." There was not really much else he could say about the subject as he rolled his shoulders back into a simple shrug. <b style="color:#0d5b8c; font-family:geogia; font-size:13px">"I'm glad you're ok."

Borlla Tainn-Argyris
Borlla wished she was different, a doppelganger with a different mind. A growl rumbled in her throat, and she allowed her scowl to be reapplied. Despite her more...or less "vicious" attitude that had been growing in recent weeks, she felt she could drop it, just this once. The girl didn't want to be like Indru or Ruiko, but she also didn't want him to think he could just get away with all of the stuff that he did!

Her pale brows furrowed, suddenly frustrated by his words. Glad she was okay? Instantly, any plan she had to chew on him had been cast out. What was she supposed to say to that? <b style="color:#32527a">"Well...Well..." Her words were like little gasps for air. <b style="color:#32527a">"Well, what's wrong with you?!" She nearly screeched at him, and sank into the snow, her scowl wobbly, trying to suppress any moisture that would leak from her eyes. It was utterly confusing. <b style="color:#32527a">"speech."
