Oh, he was heavy but she did not complain. Jessie had volunteered for this and she considered Ice family. The Tainn would do anything for family. And so she steeled herself against his weight and did the best she could to support him on the way home. It took a long time. With her petite form supporting his large one, it was what she expected. By the time they crossed her borders, the Rye Queen's muscles were screaming for a break, but she would not rest until Ice was safely within the confines of the medical den. By that time, he would have been marked heavily with her scent and felt confident that others would know that he was most assuredly their guest - not that he could go anywhere. Finally, they arrived. Jessie called for Neko and waited for her. The monochrome woman would stay with him until she was sure he was comfortable and then seek out her mate to let him know that they would be having a guest for quite some time.
