His blue eyes squinted slightly as he tried to take in the scenery before him but like always, expect the things within a few feet of him, everything was on the blurry side. He thought there was water nearby, along with the strong scent of wolves which he tried to stay far away from. The smell was strong enough that right away he knew part of this area belonged to a pack. All he needed was a drink and hopefully, the water was outside the borders.
Because no trouble was wanted for Ryker today, no sir. He'd stay far away and if there was any reason for him meet these wolves, he wanted it to be on neutral ground. But that didn't mean trouble still wouldn't find him.
"Fuck!" Really, the young wolf knew he had to focus on where he was going or else he'd run into things. Like the low hanging branch that whacked him in the face. He was just about blind but he didn't need to lose an eye for hell's sake! Snapping in annoyance at the branch, he carefully skirted the tree and continued on his way while making sure to keep his eyes open.
His ears pricked when the rushing of water could be heard and a grin crossed his face. Finally. Managing to dodge through the last of the trees, the boy came to a slight clearing where a waterfall was cascading down. Some water gather below it before shooting off from it to form a small stream. Ryker paused at its banks, letting his toes dip into the edge before he lowered his muzzle to drink. It was still cold, as if it had just melted from ice.
