He arrived at the lagoon with a huff, his long, spindly legs weary with exhaustion. He hadn’t stopped running since he’d left the Heights, for he was desperate to reach his sister’s pack before something happened. Before Revon disappeared again. While he trusted his sister immensely he did not trust the stranger that had been found with his daughter. Just because Revon was in his sister’s territory didn’t mean she was safe—or couldn’t be swept away once more. The thought caused his features to darken as he padded toward the borders, his silver gaze sweeping his surroundings. He hadn’t expected his sister to be so fond of the lagoon but, oddly enough, the place suited her. It was nice to have her so close, even though he would have preferred to share the same lands. But he knew his sister—she loved the spotlight and wasn’t eager to share it with her little brother. But, his mate was also the same. She wouldn’t give up her position for Morganna—not a chance in hell.

He paused, the frown still present on his dark features as he swung his nose to the sky. He called for his sister—for his daughter—or anyone else that was nearby and had information for him.

Morganna Archer

She didn't even call. Why didn't she call? She would trust that Jayse was on their trail but that didn't mean that her son had left any indication of the way that they had gone that she had stumbled on yet... until it was right in front of her. She sagged with relief at the obvious trail left by the near yearling as another howl filled the air and the tension was back again, but at least now they had a starting point. She pinned her ears back as she put on a burst of speed to reach her brother, there was hardly time to give him a proper greeting, stress evident in her every movement. "She went wit' 'im without a word, are yer sure he's not one o' yers?" She'd already turned to make her way back to where her son had marked the snow, expecting her brother would follow, "Everyone's out lookin' fer her but it looks like Jayse is on their trail." Poor Sovanna must have been exhausted doing the trip two times over, but there was more to do yet.

Sovanna Archer

Sovanna’s plan had changed slightly. She still had yet to go to the Ridge… she wanted to make sure Greer didn’t die from exhaustion in going to get his daughter, so she’d followed him instead, back to the pack, and then she’d run to the Ridge and notify them that Adeltra was with them. He hadn’t stopped running, and so neither had she. He pushed himself harder than she ever had, and she was starting to understand why Pietro sometimes yelled at her to slow down. If he felt like this from her adventures, then she truly felt guilty for not slowing down a little.

She was greeted with the sight of Morganna, a soft smile on her features and pride in the fact that she’d succeeded in her first official mission as a scout by delivering the message… it was her words that caused Sovie some confusion, her head tilting softly to the side. Everyone’s out lookin’ fer her but it looks like Jayse is on their trail. Did that mean that they had lost the child? She had just been here! Sovie hadn’t taken very long in getting the message delivered!

Scouting Dem 1/3

Addy wanted to say I told you so so badly that it hurt. This was exactly what she’d been afraid of but did anyone listen to her? No! She knew she should have trusted her gut, just knew it, but she’d been fooled into thinking that age automatically meant someone knew more. Just because someone was older didn’t mean they always knew what was right. Morganna hadn’t been the only foolish one, so had Adeltra. And now they were paying the price.

She’d been out looking too, just as frantic as everyone else but when Greer’s call went up she immediately headed that way. She wouldn’t be left out of this one, but she wasn’t necessarily going to be the one talking either. No, she was far too pissed for that. So, instead she arrived behind Morganna to hear her words and held back a scoff. How would the Alpha of a pack not know if one of his wolves was missing? She stood in the back quietly, expression neutral even though inside she was seething. The Heights wolves better not try to turn this back on the Willows, this one wasn’t their fault even though none of it had been in the first place. She'd stick around to see what Greer wanted them to do, then relay it back to the Ridge. She didn't want to be there anymore.

Normally he would have been excited to see his older sister, but there was something about her expression that made his shoulders droop. Something that screamed Revon isn’t here! without Morganna having to open her mouth. In nose wrinkled in frustration as she approached, her exasperated tone filling the space between them. … are yer sure he’s not one o’ yers? His teeth gritted together before he spoke, his tail lashing out behind him in anger. Greer sure. But who was the loner that had captured his daughter and convinced her to disappear with them not once but twice? His head was reeling. Where had they gone this time?! And most importantly, how could they have slipped under his sister’s nose?! Shouldn’t someone have been watching them until his arrival? He did not acknowledge Sovanna’s arrival as she sauntered up behind him; his focus remained fixated on his sister. Where trail go? He asked, blunt and to the point.

His silver gaze only wavered as an ebony youth appeared behind Morganna, her pelt heavily saturated with the stench of his birthplace. The Ridge cub. Part of Greer felt bad for what had happened between his birthpack and the Heights. Someone had attempted to put the blame on them and drive a wedge between the two packs. They had succeeded in the latter, and while the shadow wanted nothing more than to fix things with his younger sister, he needed to find his daughter first. That was his only priority. Loner look like? He asked as he returned his attention to Morganna, his jaw clenched. He needed to find this pest and his daughter before something bad happened…

There was no point to laying blame now, and with a tilt of her head she raced towards the marker Jayse had left, his pawprints clear in the snow, straight as an arrow, headed east. "Back t'wards th' mountain." They would be headed in the vicinity of the Ridge, who were already on the lookout as far as she was aware. The south was a veritable snakepit of Archers, so she had been surprised when it didn't head north. As to what he looked like, she had to scoff. "'e looks like 'nother bloody Archer, orange eyes though." Big build, silver fur, all traits that were associated with their family, so was it any surprise she had questioned it, unaware as she was that Revon had even been missing in the first place with little more than the words of a child and her nieces general discomfort to go off?

Skipping Sovanna since she's inactive now

Greer looked positively pissed, insisting that he was sure that the man wasn’t his subordinate. And, of course, he had every right to be. Revon should have been fine within the protection of such a large pack, but they’d been lax. Had decided not to take the word of a couple of cubs because, well, they were children. They failed to realize that sometimes the biggest truths came from the mouths of babes.

He asked where the trail went and what the loner had looked like, two very good questions. Morganna shot off and they went to follow, her auds tilted forward as her cousin spoke. First about the trail, then about the appearance being like an Archer. She couldn’t argue with either, but it didn’t mean that she couldn’t still be miffed. When she realized that the trail was heading back to the Ridge she turned to look at Greer. I’m gonna head back home and let everyone know what’s going on and keep an eye out from there. Bout time I was heading home anyways. Anything you want me to tell the Ridge? she questioned, her honeyed amber gaze attentive for any message she might receive.

Of course they were heading back to the mountain—why wouldn’t they be? His tail lashed out angrily behind him, his breath growing ragged with obvious frustration. He understood that with so many wolves beneath Morganna it was difficult to keep track of them, but Greer would have hoped that she would have paid even more attention to his daughter who was clearly with an unknown wolf. His expression smoothed, however, as she responded to his question about the appearance of the stranger. Orange eyes. He blinked, a wrinkle forming between his brows. The shadow was familiar with a wolf with an Archer-like appearance and ugly orange eyes. An irritated growl rumbled in the back of his throat; he should have known! It had been awfully suspicious when the strange yearling had appeared on the edge of Aurora territory, claiming he saw the scarlet Archer being led away by a wolf matching Sven’s appearance. How could they have been so stupid?! He did not have time for further conversation—he needed to find his daughter. He gave a dismissive flick of his tail at Adeltra’s question, his expression still dark: Stop looking. With that he spun around on his heels, no goodbye tumbling off his tongue as anger fuelled his retreat into the forest… Greer exit.

here we are, don't turn away now

Adeltra was met with a nod, she would miss the fiery yearling, but with her silent brother uttering only two words she had to hold back a sigh. If he no longer wanted their assistance she certainly wouldn't force it on him but there had been no obvious indication from Revon that she didn't know the stranger and she had accompanied him without a fuss if the tracks were anything to go by. She was almost a yearling. She was bound to wander eventually.

With Greer's large frame heading out on the trail of the missing wolves, Morganna finally let that sigh go. "No news from me but if yer wan'ter come back any time, yer always welcome." She offered the yearling a lop-sided smile and a wave of her tail. "Be careful on yer way back."
