To her relief, the stranger smiled. Maybe the adrenaline had done him some good - he looked much more focused now than he had initially. She panted right along with him, noting his observation of the mountain and the forest and the way he was was considering which path to take. Giving a second look over her shoulder at the sound of rocks tumbling, it was to the pair's misfortune that the coyotes weren't going to give up just yet.
"Lyanna," she breathed, inclining her muzzle as if to gesture. "-You?"
This was absolutely not the best time for introductions, what with the coyotes on their heels, but nonetheless she was content to get it out of the way. Her attention immediately strayed to the forest, her wide, amber eyes darting between a number of relatively open breaks in the treeline. Any of them would make for a decent getaway at this point. "Forest?" she questioned before the snarling behind them intensified. She was ready to bolt when a rock dislodged by one of the coyotes rolled down the slope and bounced off of her leg. "Yep!" In a flash and with a laugh, she was off. Gifted with her mother's long legs and speed, Lyanna's deep strides sucked up the ground as if she were flying. Soon enough she was off the mountain and headed straight for the closest exit. The woods were sure to give them some extra protection, and with a sense of success she dashed past the first of the forests' old trees and into its shadows.
