Helen
Helen was a complete stranger to the two, yet she didn't sense any shyness and fear in any of them. None of them felt that Helen was any harm to them. The yearling seemed to accept her presence. The way he reacted upon meeting Helen, was simple and matured, the kind of response Helen was satisfied with. "Brilliant answer," Helen congratulated the yearling sarcastically. On the other hand, the little girl acted like others would at her age, her puppish manner annoying yet adorable to the adult. Helen bit her tongue, nearly bursting out into laughter at the pup's stubborn expression. She was certainly impressed at how daring the young girl was to chase an adult wolf away. Here a little pup was acting like biggie, strong and tough. While Helen had no intentions of proving the brave soul wrong, she wanted to tease the little girl. With a playful wag of a tail, Helen chose to stay put, grinning at the pup condescendingly: "If you start chasing everything off, the monsters wouldn't come to you. And maybe, there's one waiting behind the trees right now." She surveyed the young girl mockingly, searching for any sign of annoyance, fascination or even fear.

While Helen wanted to retrace her scent trail and leave the dreadful place immediately, she knew that it wasn't safe to leave the pup and the yearling in the spooky area. She watched with amusement as the yearling attempted to scare the little girl up a little, but failed. Instead, she sprinted off to somewhere. "Hey, where is your little friend going to?" Helen asked the yearling, before following instinctively. Upon seeing what the pup took as a treasure, Helen bent down and whispered into her ears gleefully: "Hey, if the meat here is fresh, don't you think the creature that did this is still lurking nearby?" At the mention of these words, Helen instantly regretted. The freaky thought of frightening monsters with sharp, pointy fangs and claws was frightening enough. While it  certainly was fun teasing the young one, Helen couldn't help but give an unnoticeable shudder at the image of the monster.

OOC: lil power play of Vaken pushing Jenny, if you like I can change it

I feel numb, born with a weak heart

Vaken did not try and reprimand Jenessa for telling the woman to go away. He was indifferent to social etiquette. He did not care either way if the woman was insulted or if the pup wanted to be a brat- he wasn’t involved. He completely ignored the banter between the two, clawing at the bones and sniffing around. He didn’t wander too far off, but stayed distant enough to avoid communication with either of them. It was obvious the stranger took more of an interest in the pup than him- good riddance. She could deal with the small tyrant.

It was only when the black pup raced off that Vaken’s attention was stolen from his dead body investigations. He jerked his head up and made his way forward. Twitching his ear, he let out a sharp snarl towards the adult woman. “She isn’t my friend,” he corrected, grumbling under his breath. Regardless, he was inclined to follow her. He jumped over the remains of a decayed fox, kicking a rib bone with his back-leg.

The smell of fresh meat was enticing. He confidently moved towards the pup and other woman, using his front paw to push the black child out of the way. He attempted to knock her off balance, to give him more room to enjoy his meal. He didn’t care if she fell or rolled into the dead animal guts: serves her right for being so small and pushable. Just as much, he didn’t care about scary stories or the adult woman. He would have pushed her too if she was expecting to eat first. “Thanks kiddo,” he rambled, lowering his muzzle to eat. “If you’re lucky, I’ll leave you a rib to chew on.”

I guess I must be having fun

Jenny is the best worst.

Jenny decided she didn't like the lady. She talked too much and was to...familiar. She didn't mind it when Cheedo got all chatty, cause she knew her, but this lady was just annoying as heck. The sooner she realised that Jenny had no interest in talking to her the better. So of course, when the stranger tried to lean in to whisper in her ear she jerked away and snapped at her, her teeth clicking on empty air.

The prize was hers and hers alone, she had no intentions of sharing, till the scruffy man shoved her off of it and forced her to the ground. She landed with a huff as she squelched against something cold and wet, gross! How very dare he! He would pay, Jenny would make it so. She laid there for a moment, her eyes narrowing into yellow scalpels. If he wouldn't let her have the yum then no one would have it.

Gritting her teeth Jenny forced herself back up onto her paws and shook off her coat. If he wanted to eat so much then he better be willing to eat pee covered deer!

Stomping forward, Jenny unceremoniously squatted and started to pee all over the deers remains.  She'd had a lot to drink, after all she'd found a fresh river not to long ago so she had plenty of ammunition, so to speak. By the time she was done the deer smelt far worse than any of the rotten bits of meat, so vile in fact it even made her nose wrinkle at the smell. But oh, she was so so so satisfied. Served him right really, she would have shared if he had asked nicely. But no, he had to be mean.

She turned to him then, her eyes alight with mischief. "Whoops." Was all she said, so damn innocent like she could do no wrong.

Helen had been expecting some sort of reaction from the pup, but was stunned by how the young one responded so rudely. While she was still equally amused, Helen couldn't help but let a little spark of anger flare up within her. She would have let out a frustrated growl and maybe a lecture on manners in response, but chose to stay silent in front of her young audience. It was none of her business to correct the pup's etiquettes. Instead, she glared at the pup furiously for awhile, before returning her gaze to something else.

The two seemed to be against each other. One seemed to snatch the food away, out of the younger one's grasp. The other, seemed to take revenge in her own selfish and annoying ways. Both of their annoying yet adorable puppish treatments were enjoyable to watch, from the adults' view. She looked from the yearling, and to the pup, then back to the older one again. Helen was speechless, not knowing whether to giggle or tell them off about their rather impolite gestures. Then, again, she shouldn't be a busybody. She thought about how the two seemed to enjoy each others' presence, no matter how rude they were to each other, and how the younger of the two took no interest in the adult. Instead, the pup wanted her to be gone.

While Helen longed for company, she didn't want to interrupt the two. They seemed brave enough to defend themselves if anything happens, although Helen was more worried about whether the two could successfully do so. Without another word, the adult slunk out from the scene. After she had placed quite a distance between herself and the two, she took one last glance, before racing away to wherever fate led her to.

I feel numb, born with a weak heart

Annoying twerp. The angry boy snarled and hissed, watching the pup piss all over his food. The audacity! He wanted to rip her apart in that moment and make a meal out of her soft flesh, but didn’t. Instead he glowered at her, his eyes turned to daggers. He couldn’t attack a child, but he wanted to. If he knew the pup didn’t have any family, he may have. The idea of wounding something so defenceless seemed risky, surely her parents would come after him. He sighed, watching the urine soak any hope he had for a meal. He didn’t notice the other lady slink off until Jenessa was done. He looked around for her for a second, then shrugged. She must have gotten the message.

It didn’t matter now anyway. The yearling had no intention of sticking around, babysitting the monster. He cringed, then rose to his feet and began to move away. “You better hope I don’t run into you again,” he snarled, his voice dry and cold. He didn’t wait for a response. As soon as the words were out of his mouth, he darted, running deeper into the woods and away from the small black pup.

Jenessa Kay Selwyn

Lyanna couldn't stop herself from grinning. The woman left, which was what Jenny had wanted all along and it seemed as though the grumpy man was about to do the same. He turned to her and snarled at her, as though she was supposed to be afraid. It only made her smile all the more. Jenny hoped for nothing, the prospect of seeing him again was not an awful one, she just didn't care for his threat. He couldn't hurt her, no one could. That was just the way the world worked, the sooner the bigs realised that the better.

"Uh huuuh!" She cheeped, blissfully basking in her own little victory. Then as if to add more salt to his wound, she called out to him as he retreated."Biii!"

No one challenged Jenessa Selwyn and got out on top, that much was certain.
