If they bumped into each other in the meantime, the yearling wouldn’t object. Zev was an interesting wolf, a possibly ally and friend. An unexpected and unusual pairing, but helpful. He agreed with a solid nod, following the man’s train of focus to the remains. He did not interrupt his fun, instead watching observantly while he sprung into action. He was quick for a large wolf, catching the crow before it could take flight. Interesting. It seemed unusual to hunt when a carcass was already there for the taking, but who was the boy to judge? He simply sniffed in dismissal, moving towards the elk with hungry eyes. It didn’t matter to him. Zev has recently eaten too, the blood from the rabbit still staining the ground. Food was food. The more of it the better.
