Since moving away from the big lake and Vigils Keep, Neha had made it a point to make herself scarce. The split had happened, but even during this time away, she had kept her loyalty to what remained of the pack. She wasn't sure what the future would hold for her. Of how long she'd stay, or if she'd branch off and join another group. She felt numb...like she was just floating adrift.
This time alone she needed. She knew the others would respect that, especially her own brother. Heck, she didn't even know how long she'd be away. Be it for days, weeks or even months. Perhaps as long as it took, while she did some soul searching. Maybe even travelling to parts of the Lore she had not yet seen while at it. Speaking of which....
Just a little southward than her usual haunts, Neha found herself in a peaceful little area. It was quiet, with no sign of any other packs nearby. As she edged ever deeper into the area, a familiar glimmer caught her eye. Water. A modest sized pool of it, though by no means anything like the lake. Her brows pinched together. Something was floating on the surface, bobbing gently. Curiosity getting the better of her, she stopped by the bank, peering down as one of the said objects drifted closer. The glimmer of red and the ripened scent gave it all away. They were apples...many of them, having fallen from an overhanging tree. Well, what a shame it'd be to let a perfectly good food source go to waste.
