Bramble Falls how otterly adorable

"Yeah, I guess so." Casper replied softly, as his mind wandered to his family and what they were doing right now. Were his sisters doing well? Had his parents gotten over their worry about him leaving, his mother especially? He hoped so, because it'd be a while before he thought about returning to them in any capacity. Part of him still itched to explore, no matter how much his heart wished to return to them.

And to be honest, it felt nice here, next to Clover as they shared the warmth between them on this large stone, after Casper failed at a hunt. It was...peaceful. There was no rowdy sisters to tease him or stern talking's to from his father because he didn't notice the otter. And because of that, and the surprise swim he had along with the warmth from Clover, Casper felt his eyelids becoming heavy.

Wait, no he couldn't just fall asleep on Clover, they only just met again. It was only polite to ask her how'd she'd been and if she met any others right?

Her grin morphed into a warm smile at his soft words, and she silently watched as his attention drifted away, likely deep in thought about something. She rested her head upon her front paws, idly watching the world around her, simply happy to lay there in silence for a change. Sometimes it was nice to just observe with no intention of jumping in and doing something, and she felt herself become drowsy as the sun warmed her up with a warm tingly feeling.

Clover glanced sideways at Casper, taking note of his still form, guessing that he too was feeling the effects of the sun. She let out a puff of air, more of a relaxed sigh than anything, content to lay there for a while longer, or even to have a quick nap before needing to return to the others. They could do without her for an hour or two, and she still had plenty of time before it became dark.
