Expectant mothers at this point in time may begin to display mood swings, appetite changes, and breast tissue development.

Just like that.

The very thing that had irritated her to no end seemed to vanish. Vaporized into thin air over the last week or so. Admittedly this should have been reason for...alarm. Worry. Hesitation. Something of the like. Instead she took advantage of not being nagged by her own body. A quick loop over the top of the mountain before she had found herself traveling along its other side. Eventually she set up her own little resting place by a river. Unsure of just how long she'd stay in the area. With the weather doing unruly wonders, she figured it wouldn't hurt to stay still for a while at least. Few days, maybe a week or two.

Except days ticked by and she found herself...off kilter. Indescribable to anything else she had ever felt. A sour dip in her mood even with no one around and an appetite that seemed to sway between nonexistent and like she would devour a whole forest. So what had she decided to do to help with such things?

Well, she had set out that morning on an aggressive stroll. Then marked tree after tree that she could. It wasn't as though she had any legitimate claim to these woods, but she certainly felt that way today.

Juniper took some time to herself, making the excuse to Jasper that she needed to clear her head a little bit, but really she just wanted some peace and quiet. They had done what they had set out to do, and confirmed that their sisters were safe, but somehow she'd once again fallen into that weird mom-esque role. So much, in fact, that she'd crossed miles and miles of terrain just to find them, but they were adults now. She shouldn't have to worry.

So in her head, the Leigh nearly missed the makeshift borders, coming to a halt just before she crossed over them. Testing the air with her nose, she found a surprising lack of scents. Actually, she was only able to pinpoint one. One singular, pregnant female. If she was all alone, then why was she marking out a territory? Wasn't that dangerous? What if some bad guy came across the scent? It would lead him right to her. 

Careful not to step over the freshly marked line, she made her way towards the woman, calling out only after her sunny eyes latched onto a tawny figure. "Good afternoon!"

Meir wasn't exactly sure what he was doing back within the lands that held his birthplace. Curiosity certainly had a major part in this excursion, though an unexplained pull brought him back to the Lore. Perhaps, his twin brother ended up finding his way back to the Secret Woodlands even though they were long gone. Discovering where his family relocated after the Lore hadn't been easy, but the Athesila was able to happen upon them. Spending time with his family, he decided to continue on his journey to see what awaited him.

As he made his way towards the dense forest he had been born in, Adimar was crossing through the Grove humming along to a random song that found its way within his mind. With his mind wandering to where his fiery sister might possibly be, he didn't exactly realize where he was going or the fact he was somewhat trespassing upon a particular woman's property. Though in his defense it was one woman and one woman only, so the rules on that were a little eh. Pale peach gaze caught sight of two women just within a clearing, a happy grin filling his features. A decent amount of time has passed since he's interacted with another wolf. "Hello there!" Adimar called out loudly, his sunny, loquacious disposition never changing.

She was bombarded by not one, but two different wolves. She was all sorts of puffed up for it. Slowly but surely resembling more of a porcupine than a wolf. She had not yet started snarling and snapping though so she would say that she was still in the polite territory.

"Is he with you?" This was directed to the woman. Her patience thin on the men she had already met and admittedly she did not feel thrilled to stumble into another. Not that the mountain one had been bad, but that had been an entirely different meeting.

Regardless, she imagined she might have a lick of patience for a fellow woman today.

The soot-dipped yearling had missed the man's scent on the breeze, so when his voice touched her ears Juniper gave a little start. Suddenly, she felt a little silly, having intruded upon this woman and her mate under the assumption that she might be alone and in danger, but at least the pregnant lady was safe.

Those thoughts were quickly tossed to the wind, however, as the tawny woman's first question had Juniper shaking her head. "No. I thought he might be with you." Bright gold eyes shifted cautiously back to the man, whose sunny disposition she was now looking at with suspicion. It was always better to be safe than sorry. "Uh, hello there."

The man took off just as quick as he had arrived. Maybe the best for his sake, perhaps, seeing as Kisina's foul mood seemed to reach out to him the most. Although that was something she would have been unapologetic about anyway.

"For the record, he's not." She huffed foully.

"So what are you doing out here then?" A bit of prodding as she considered relieving herself on another tree. Except this time it felt more out of necessity rather than any aggressive desire to mark things...awkward. Maybe if she just shifted her weight back and forth between her paws she'd feel better.

(She wouldn't.)

The man wandered off, which Juniper thought was really weird, but at least she didn't have to worry about him bothering the pregnant lady. Still, she might follow his trail for a little while after their encounter, just to be sure he hadn't planned on sneaking up once she'd left. 

To the woman's question, Juni could only shrug. "I was walking and I came across your scent. It seemed like you might be alone so," She paused for a second as the woman began to shift her weight, but continued on without acknowledging it further. "I just wanted to make sure you didn't need anything." Not that the Leigh had much to offer, no pack, no home-base, no nothing yet really, but it never hurt to ask.
