It had been so sudden the urge to travel back to the Ethos that Oksana couldn't ignore. She'd just left the cove knowing it wasn't right and that it could cost her dearly. Still she'd needed to speak with her mother, she needed some way to know she'd made the right decision. Then for days after she'd traveled down the mountain and across the familiar lands. It took her longer than a wolf without her handicap. She hoped they'd all understand.
Her time in the Ethos had seemed so short but she knew she couldn't stay forever. It wasn't her time to join those that had gone before her. The journey back had not seemed to go quicker, if anything it had seemed longer but finally she'd reached the place that Aleister had asked her to become part of his pack.
Just a little further and she finally reached the border. Hopefully she would find a place to rest there. Raising her nose into the air she sent her voice traveling through the trees. It was the leader of Sanguine Cove she needed to speak to.
