Avella Archer
AW. Avella has brought Alarick home. This is a thread for everyone to come meet him. @Alarick @Scully @Moore @Queenie Backdated to 1/18

It was good to be back amongst the Drooping trees that made up Willow Ridge. She and Alarick had only just arrived at the edge of her territory. One of the main things she wanted to do once her newest recruit had been introduced was check in with Scully. She had to know that everything had gone well while she was gone. The past day had been happy and a little rough she was so excited. They were so close to reaching their goal and even more importantly she felt like they had good wolves on their side.

As she approached the edge of the territory which was already smelling like the wolves that lived there she looked over at Alarick. "Here we are. Home sweet home. This is Willow Ridge." Avella said the name very proudly. She was very proud of all that her family had accomplished in this land. Though it was a little bittersweet since her parents weren't there to see what she and Scully had done.

She started in toward the heart of the territory. "I thought once you met everyone I could show you where the den is and give you a tour if you like?" She offered. She wanted him to feel just as at home as everyone else's.

Once they'd gotten into the territory a few years she stopped and raised her muzzle to call everyone to meet Alarick.

Alarick
The journey to this point had been fairly lengthy and certainly tiring, but for the moment, excitement and anticipation outweighed everything else. The closer to Avella’s home they grew, the more apparent scents and trails of others became, and the more real the vision seemed. For the first time in a long time, Alarick felt truly hopeful. He could not even imagine what his companion for the last few days must have been feeling.

Home sweet home, she called it, pride very much present in her words. He could see why. ”It is beautiful,” Alarick concurred softly, taking it all in visually. Even in the midst of winter, with most everything consisting of drab shades of white or grey, this place was something else. He could not wait to see it when spring and summer arrived on hand.

Avella offered a tour once the meeting with the others was over, breaking the former hunter out of his thoughts. ”It would be foolish of me to say no,” he spoke with a wry smile, feeling comfortable enough with the other now, to be just a little bit facetious as they waited for the others.

”I do not wish to take up too much of your time, though, either,” Al added on a slightly more serious note. Surely Avella had other things to attend to, and he did not want to get in the way of that for too long.

Moore Bailey

The scent and taste of hare clung to the inside of his maw; it wouldn't be much for the cache, but it'd be better than no food, and someone could benefit from it at some point. On his way to the stock, Moore thought ahead on the rest of the day's plans. He could easily find other prey trails, the area he had seen the hare was thick with other scent trails. Or a patrol…. Regardless, the thick-furred man was happy to help where he could. The thoughts in his mind scattered like leaves on the breeze upon hearing Avella call for the pack, though.

Detouring through the brush and layered snow, it wasn't long before large ears picked up the noise of conversation, Avella and someone he didn't quite recognize. Picking up the pace, strong legs carried the man closer to his leader with his signature gait, before the Archer was before him, along with a stranger.

Curious, Moore placed the hare on the ground before lifting his massive head to get a look at the stranger, intense pumpkin gaze staring for a moment, followed by them squinting as a broad and toothy grin placed itself on his lips. Almost immediately, his tail began wagging, sweeping in wide arcs behind him.

"Hey, Avella." With a quick glance at the masked woman, he dipped his head in greeting, almost forgetting his manners. "Who d'we got here?" His gaze shifted back to the other man. If he had to guess, another recruit for the pack? That would be good for their numbers, but he held back his assumption in the event the stranger was simply passing through.

Scully Archer
Scully had started the day hunting with Hagar, and had ended up wrestling with the other man, both smeared with the guts and blood of their victim as they played and tussled. The more used to each other they'd gotten, the friendlier they'd been, to the point that the Archer no longer minded how little the other wolf had to say.

He heard Avella's call and his bloodied mouth split wide with a wicked grin. He snapped his teeth close to Hagar's ear and pushed the other off of him, twisting back onto his feet and taking off at a run. He would enter the scene still romping with and snipping at the bear, abandoning the antics only to slip forward and greet his sister affectionately with a nuzzle of his cheek against hers. He passed her side then turned to stand should to shoulder with Avella, peering past her at the stranger she'd brought them.

To him, he offered a smirk of a smile.

Hagar
Scully had once worried Hagar, but he was beginning to better understand the other wolf's odd ways. What once would have been received as punishment was now appreciated as play, and he enjoyed the exercise and practice that his spars with the monochrome man gave him. He gave as good as he got, and had just shoved his mock opponent to the ground when Avella's call hit his ears and he was all business.

It gave the other the perfect chance to escape him, as well as sneak in a clack of teeth right next to his eardrum. An involuntary shiver ran down his spine, but he grinned nonetheless, and chased after the Archer sibling. When finally he was let be, he took a place at Moore's side, bumping shoulders as way of saying hi.

His mossy eyes regarded the newcomer curiously.
