RE: Moore, it's the middle of the night and you're too cold to fall asleep.
AW RE for the Willows Wolves but special mention to @Scully , @Queenie, @Avella!
What had been turning into home sweet home had never felt so… cold. The frigid nip in the night air bit against Moores’ skin; even with all of his bulk and extremely thick fur, the cold latched on, made him feel derelict and rickety. If he was cold, he couldn’t imagine how the rest of the pack was holding out. With a quiet grunt and huff, he shifted once more, attempting to tuck his paws underneath himself and cover his nose, only to find the crescent-esque position uncomfortable.
Sick of the constant shifting, that he silently hoped hadn’t woken his packmates, he finally rose to his paws. With a frown, the bulky man wondered if he could shift the snow and make a sort of nest out of it, something to at least insulate him a little. After a glance around, Moore began pawing at the ground and shifting snow with his nose, forming a rather small-looking snow nest. Well, that certainly wouldn’t do. That thing probably wouldn’t even fit a ‘yote…
With a defeated and resigned sigh, Moore sank back down to the ground, attempting to find a comfortable and warm position again. Pumpkin eyes peered around; if he was cold, certainly the others might be as well, but the thought of potentially waking anyone rubbed him the wrong way. If only because he knew he’d be cranky if someone woke him in the middle of the night.
