Around noon, overcast, 16C/61F
The sun was at the highest point in the sky, not that you could see it through the clouds, and even if you could, the small child making a major life decision had no way of knowing. Her eyes were recently open and blue, the sign of a newborn, only letting in blurry visions to the child who they belonged to. For now there was no way of knowing that her eyes would not continue developing as normal, for this short time in her life she had the same abilities as her young siblings.
As it was, Sephrina had seen the big white blur that she had come to associate with warmth and milk and safety had up and left their home. So, she was toddling after them, intrigued with where she was going, and frankly a little hungry. How dare the white blurry leave when she was feeling hungry? She was going to go after her and cry until she got her way.
But, even with the sky blocked with clouds, to eyes that had only ever known the dim of the den the bright was overwhelming. Sephrina stumbled backwards a few steps, startled and not knowing what to think or do.
