Avella Archer
Avella had jumped in without much thought to her own well being. She saw her packmates in need of help and that was all she was concerned about. Alarick had joined her at the aminals rear. The two of them made it possible for Hagar to get a blow in causing the wolverine damage but that wasn't enough. This animal was dangerous to them and any pups that might be on the way. They couldn't have this danger continue to roam their territory.

Once the wolverines attention was drawn back toward Scully and Hagar the Ridge leader made her move. She dove in fast grabbing at the animals haunches. She bit down hard and then retreated just as fast. At the same time the wolverine turned on her which effectively tore the skin open wide.

Alarick
With four of them there, now, the wolverine did not quite seem to know which of them to face. The dark brown man struck first as he was presented with an opening, tearing into its flesh and then dodging back to avoid a counterattack. With that, Avella was presented a chance, and the leader made a move. She scored a hit on its back, and it turned on her.

Instinctively he moved, then, to strike at the side of the creature’s neck as it was distracted. Alarick found himself rewarded with the tangy taste of crimson, fangs slicing into the soft flesh there. But the creature was both nimble and strong. He could feel it moving to counter and pulled back in time to feel its razor-sharp teeth glide through his coat where his neck would’ve been a second before, creating the slightest gash there and taking a tuft of tawny fur with it.

Hagar
As they each took their turns, the unwise scavenger grew increasingly panicked. It tried to fight back, but each way it turned proved the wrong choice and the frustration within was clear as it began to hiss and kick in fits and spurts wherever it could manage. The scent of it's blood weighed heavily in the air and within Hagar's nostrils, marking the nearing of the end of it's life.

The final assault, launched by the bear-like man, was driven more by mercy than need. At this point, they could have left it to die of blood loss, but such suffering was unnecessary when it all could end now. Taking advantage of the ragged hole Alarick had begun, Hagar finished opening the animal's throat completely and clamped down on the tubing of it's air way.

It was done, and the pack would not need to worry about its thievery any longer.
