Late morning, open to anyone! <3

His blunt claws scraped through the red dirt, leaving deep trails in their wake. He wiggled his toes, watching as the dirt sprinkled back down on the sloped landscape. It was peaceful up here, even if making his way up the red mountains often left him somewhat breathless. But the trek was worth it for the view.

Wrynn sat back on his haunches with a soft sigh, gaze moving across the landscape below. It had been so dry for so long, but finally, even just for a brief time, it had rained. Now it seemed to be drying back up again, and he hoped it wouldn't stay dry again. The scarcity of water was dreadful, and it almost made him wish for winter where at least there was snow he could eat to quench his thirst. Almost.

The trek from Torbine to Relic Lore had not at all been an easy one to make. It would have even been more of a struggle, had she not known which direction to take or had not met others who were willing to help her.

At the outer most reaches of her former home, Ra had been met by a group of three- two sisters and a cousin, with a want to leave their pack and explore the world beyond. Much Archers would speak ill of half breeds, but the coywolves had been exceptionally kind to her and were well aware of the place known as Relic Lore.

So they traveled, slowly but surely, with a patience to Ra that she had only had ever come from close family. The cousin, Kiro, was just into his eighth moon of life. He was optimistic and excitable and had allowed Ra to hold onto his tail as they traveled. It was obvious, a bit of a crush had been taken to Ra.

When they had reached the outskirts of the Lore, Kiro had thoughts to stay with Ra. The young woman, softly enough, was able to convince the boy it was best he stick with family, as Ra intended. Parting ways, Ra moved slowly into the lands of red rock. The smell of wolf was not far and Ra had ensured the coywolves she would make it safely and not risk their own safety either.

Ra was not as presentable as she would have wished when introducing herself to others, especially possible future packmates. She was dirty, more so now as the red earth stained her white legs. Traveling and tripping time to time left her paw pads raw and cracked, sore with old wounds. Her fur was not painted, nor was it adorned with flowered perfumes. She was not the presence of a Seer she would have liked to be but there was little she could do.

Moving in long, careful steps, Ra made way towards the scent of another and could hear their scratches upon the sandy rocks. "Good Morning..." She murmurs, her voice light but direct even if her gaze was not, as she looked out into his general area though not directly at him.

His solitude was interrupted by the appearance and voice of another. The stranger was soft-spoken, and her gaze seemingly unable to hold steadfast with his eyes. Not that he was staring directly at her either.

Still he struggled to maintain eye contact with others, but he was working on it, along with many other aspects of himself.

"Morning miss." His greeting was accompanied by a soft thumping of his tail upon the hard red dirt. Thankfully the russet shade of his fur disguised the worst of the red dirt which clung to his extremities. The stranger was not so lucky, and he could clearly see the redness which had taken hold over the whiteness of her natural fur.

Wrynn softly cleared his throat, ears splaying sideways as a hint of nervousness filled him. Speaking to strangers was as difficult as ever, and he found himself at a bit of a loss of what to say.

"What brings you… out here?" Perhaps she too had been on the search for some peace and quiet?

The voice she hears is friendly and the thumping of what she presumed to be his tail another giveaway of friendliness. Without sight, she had only his noises to guide her, which predominantly meant using his voice. How unfortunate that he was not one who was confident in speaking to strangers.

No matter. Ra's condition forced her to be vocal.

"This place... It is Relic Lore, is it not? I had the help of others to lead me here. I search for my family, Archers." Perhaps he could be of some assistance. If he did not know the Archers, maybe someone he knew might, or maybe even then she could be led to another pack that might.

Ra was optimistic in this. The Gods would guide her true.

They always had.

He nodded eagerly at her question, an affirmative rumble sounding from his throat. Maybe he could be of use to her, and the thought of actually doing something right filled him with a sense of determination.

Wrynn's nose scrunched in deep thought as the woman continued on, before finally shaking his head. That name didn't sound familiar at all to him. "This is Relic Lore," he began, "but I don't know anyone with... that last name." He mumbled softly to himself then, wracking his brain for anyone who might even have a similar name, or perhaps someone who might know who the woman was searching for.

"But I can help you look!" He finally offered up, showing his teeth in a small toothy grin.

A rumbling in his throat, Rashina's tail, made of long wisps of fur, moves back and forth behind her. She had made it here, yet unfortunately this fellow did not know the family name of 'Archer'. Though the Archers had dominated this land (perhaps no longer) she did not think it odd that he didn't know. The world was a great big one and not everyone in Relic Lore would know her family.

"How very kind of you." She flashes a smile of her own, though she could not see the one which he had given. His voice was light, happy and it made her feel she was once more in good paws.

"The Gods continue to bless me with good company." She praises aloud and takes one, then two, slow but wide steps into his direction. "I am Ra."

Her smile filled him with what he assumed was confidence, having not felt confidant often in his life, or at all really. But it was a type of warmth that left him not wanting to cower and hide, which was nice for a change. "I do try." The whole 'helping' thing was still a bit new to him, but he certainly had the energy and determination to make up for any potential misgivings that may occur.

Wrynn's head tipped to the side curiously at the mention of Gods, nose scrunching in deep thought once again. That was a new phrase he hadn't heard before. He almost missed the woman's introduction what with there being many thoughts and questions bouncing around in his mind, but he did notice how she took curiously slow steps towards him.

"I'm Wrynn," he offered up in response, now standing up and giving a quick shake of his rump to try and shake off remnants of the red dirt from his fur. His orange eyes stared at her larger frame, now finally noticing the strange whiteness of her eyes. That was something he had never seen before.

"The Gods?" He finally asked, deciding not to bring up her strange eyes, and still needing to know what exactly she had meant by her words.

"Wrynn, a pleasure." She spoke politely so to the wolf she could not see. Having grown up with the mother she had, she knew so to speak properly. Her position in life caused her to speak respectfully and her time with the shaman and prietesses of Torbine taught her to be uplifting and strong voiced.

She walked with her head high in that same confidence, despite the brushing of her paws over the earth and her ears darting about wildly.

It was not just her eyes which were odd to him, but her words too. She pauses, her own skull tilting slightly at this. Had he never heard of Gods before? Was he a heathen? No matter. This could be redeemed.

"Yes, The Gods." She stated with utmost confidence. "They give us the air we breathe, the water we drink... the sun that is on our backs in the day and the Moon Mother which guides us each night." How could he not know this- feel this?

An ear twitched at the politeness of Ra's words, uncertain of how to appropriately respond. He was not nearly as good at wolf-to-wolf interaction as she seemed to be, and so all he managed was a slightly toothy grin, and a hastily spoken "You too!" That was good enough, right?

She held his full attention as she continued to speak about these... Gods, as she called them. Whatever they were. Wrynn blinked owlishly at her explanation, now feeling more confused than ever. The moon was a mother?

After a moment, deciding that was the least important part to focus on, he let out a soft but drawn-out noise of confusion. "I've never seen one before though." Surely if they gave the air he breathed - however they would be able to do that he had not the faintest idea - and the water he drank, he would've had to have seen them round at least once. Had she? Maybe that's why she knew of them.

"They only show themselves to us when they so choose." She spoke with a shrug of her fine-boned shoulders. "Much of us mortals are rarely deserving of it." Plagued with sin, harboring disrespect or disbelief or were simply ignorant to it, such as this man here. "But you may never see if you do not believe." She comments idly, for it was hard to be a believer if you did not grow up with such ways or if you had no proof. Ra wouldn't push it, it was not her place to do so.

She laughs a bit then, playful as she drew closer near. "Be grateful of the sight you do have, at least." She urges and her face moves to find the direction of his own even though she could not see him. "The Archers once predominantly lived somewhere south. A place of willow trees in the shadow of a great mountain chain. Do you think you could lead me to that way?"
